P2p trades done well are amazing. PSU is always the game that comes to mind when I think of a p2p market that worked amazingly.
Ummm, I am aware, a DDoS attack wouldn't release my personal info, hence saying "as long as my personal info is safe" .....
@above let me put it this way, we have just as much proof that MS paid for tomb raider as we do that Sony paid for those exclusives. The only difference? In sony's case you take the public PR statements as fact. In MS case you say the public PR statement is total BS and MS "clearly paid." That is called a double standard. (Or hypocrisy, whichever you prefer)
So the better question is, why are you so convinced that MS did pay, but Sony didn't despite the same...
As long as personal info is secure, I am happy. Can't really protect fully against DDoS without compromising stability. Happy with PS+. I gotta say if MS was really hit by that same DDoS attack, I am impressed, it didn't go down for me or any of my friends and was only listed as limited for like 30 minutes. My PS4 still isn't back up, again not really a fault of Sony's though, fault goes to the no life hackers.
It is not justified at all, it is common business, even Sony does it.
-Final fantasy 7-10 and 12
-Tomb raider 2-3 console exclusivity
-Soul caliber 3
-Gta 3 - san andreas
-Multiple dragon quest games (some of which were remastered later on other consoles)
Just to name a few, every company has done it, it sucks every time, but that is the reality of competition in a market.
@thorstein ... what? I literally went through the whole first page and saw nothing but people complaining about the hackers and if you want to be nitpicky how about the ps fan who bashed wii u for no reason?
@chris again 3 out of 1000's of commenta is hardly near your claims. Assuming there are 10 comments that means 1% (at most) of the comments made today on this subject were by fanboys bashing PS ... if you consider that to be "constant bashing" well .... you ...
I didn't really see anyone say anything like that .... in fact, i challenge you to link to anyone saying anything of the sort on here. I Can guarantee you find at most 1 comment, but sure, fanboys were going crazy right?
That aside, I am not sure that this DDoS is affecting xbl, me and my friends wer playing aince 6 and watching waynes world as we speak. As well, I have 34 friends on now playing or on netflix.
Except, it isn't having any issues .... me and my friends have literally been on since 6 and watching waynes world on netflix right now.
I mean look at the linked reddit page, two people had issues the rest said it signed in fine...
EDIT: I would attatch an image, but it keeps refreshing the page, I have 34 people on right now all in games or on netflix
Personally, I think this bundle is pretty sweet, sunset overdrive comes free, the white looks slick and it's a kinect free sku for those who don't want it.
@psn you aren't trolling, yet you came to an article about a game and console you know you aren't buying and felt compelled to make the first comment?
@gigg essentially 340$ for an xb1 .... what kind of price are you expecting
@jerome Maybe I was wrong with my original statement. I didn't think people as delusional as you exist, who actually think people buying what they want is not "ok." You are just sad.
No, you can fully block against DDoS. However, it comes at a cost to actual client requests. Every network tries to balance appropriate protection with client stability cost. Essentially, the only way to assuredly block DDoS attacks is to compromise actual users stability. I think MS, valve and Sony chose well by finding a middle ground with only MINOR succeptibility to DDoS attacks.
hmm, that looks extremely boring. I hope this is not a repeated mission type like some others are, (ie. tailing missions) I don't even want to play it once.
To clarify, I realize this year it will not be like a e3/gamescom for indie games, I just mean over time.
Damn, MS isn't playing. Hosting events like that are major mulah, (and commitment) these kinds of moves will definitely produce a lot of interest from devs. Hopefully it's like an E3 for devs who don't have multi-million(billion) dollar publishers backing them.
I think considering the majority of games since the SDK have shared parity with ps4, the carrot chasing is over. Obviously the PS4 is more powerful, but xbox one is holding it's own just fine now.
Noone (even the super fanboys) say that it's not "ok" to own an xbox. This articles title is click-bait, they should have just focused on saying why they like their xbox one, not salt in insults towards fanboys with minimal useful information.
That aside I have absolutely loved my xb1 experience so far and it continues to evolve into an even better machine, so yes, it is "ok" to own an xbox one as far as I see.
@captain, excellent argument .... "you're a fanboy"
Does claiming someone is a fanboy suddenly make everything they said moot? Despite the fact you or anyone else had no counter argument. Worse yet, I own a ps3, ps4, xb360, and xb1 and have since launch for all of them. I like games, I just mainly stick up for MS this gen so far because you guys are full of crap. I don't bash any company, so now giving a factual perspective, that everyone else ignores, is be...
It's sad to see how much hate SE and CD are getting. I really don't get why people expect SE, MS or CD to come out and say "we did it fir the money" that expectation has never been asked of any other dev EVER. It is just known, usually the parties will just mention the reason OTHER than money for their actions.... Pretty much can gurantee it would not ve the case had it been exclusive to sony. How am I so sure? Because Sony has bought 3rd party exclusives from square enix fo...
@indo hmm, you claim I question why people buy a PS4, yet I have had one since release, as well as xb1... not to mention not a single time have I said/suggested someone not buy a PS4.
However, making up things is the easier route, so not surprised that's the one you took...
They literally just had titanfall gor 25$, fifa for 45$ and trials fusion for 13$....
