Wow, I never thought of it that way. It is true though, games used to be complete and full of value before online. Made DLC easier to distribute. Sucks, because online play is one of my favorite additions to gaming, now I am in a love hate relationship with it lol.
Been using it and love it. Snap works for the friends list too, always pissed me off having to back out and go to the friends list that took forever to load. Now you can snap friends pretty much instantly. The achievements work nice too.
@rabbit it is clearly a typo, it is most like supposed to be 2k, 20k or 200k as they said "thousands." Not to mention 200 sales in one of the largest cities is hardly a "bang."

No, the issue is linking loot to level. When you can reach max level in 3-4 hours then have to grind 40 min missions to get 1 or two items that most likely will be nothing useful. Not to mention that there is game content locked behind level walls, which generally is ok as you can level up by playing and gaining experience. In this case you have to play the same missions over and over until you luckily get enough loot to maybe get a piece of light armor.

Not too much longer. Any game that restricts your ability to gain loot simply to falsely extend the lifespan of their game is garbage to me.

Yea, honestly if loot wasn't so terribly inefficient to get through strikes, raid, etc I would 100% much prefer doing it that way.
Bungie acts like people are doing it because they enjoy it, when in fact it is being done because people want to move on to higher level missions rather than play the same 5 forever stuck at level 22. You can play any of the strikes, which take forever to do, and usually come out with literally nothing.
I hope "like" doesn't just mean child of light 2. While that wouldn't be absolutely terrible, I would really prefer something new. (LOVED child of light, but feel it ended fine)
I truly am confused at this point. First he tweets insults about devs using microtransactions. (MT's)Tweets there will be no MT's. Followed by a tweet declaring "no" microtransaction. A few weeks later, tells multiple sources, there are MT's. Now back to none? This guy has no clue what he is doing. Game looks great though.
