Honestly, it seems it is mainly the smaller titles that have the biggest discrepencies (not inlcuing titles on/near launch) most likely has a lot to do with the amount of time the eSRAM takes to optimize for. Many much more intensive games share parity. That said, time not being a constraint at all PS4 would still come out on top as it is more powerful.
@mike I buy most multiplats on my xb1, the difference is pretty much zip, people just love to blow smoke. People stare with ...
@bathy I mean why (should MS) have (manufacture) a console at all. I am referring to MS and xbox exclusives so obviously when I say why have (manufacture) a console at all, I mean if all the xbox exclusives come to PC why does MS even make a console at all.....
Idk what is confusing about that or how you think that comment was about anything other than xbox. I feel like your desperate need to make controversy out of nothing is the issue. The fact you think my comment had ANY...
What I find funny is:
-MS puts games one PC people say "all the xbox one games come to PC, why buy a XB1?"
-MS retains exclusivity for xbox games people say "MS doesn't care about it's fans."
Personally I hope Halo MCC, Halo 5, scalebound, FH2, Quantum break, etc never come to PC, otherwise, why have a consple at all?
Episodic, like walking dead, wolf among us, etc.
Local multiplayer is still relevant, but unfortunately non existent. The lack of local multiplayer in games is a reall bummer.
I think it looks great, I just also think titanfall had an impact on the product. The only reason I am not buying it is because there are so many other games to buy in that same span, namely Halo: MCC l.
If you are asking if I think one of the worlds largest devs can change movement, maps and perks for MP in 1 1/2 years, (time since titanfall reveal) then yes, I do.
MS is letting it all hang loose because
1. They know this game is content rich and top notch quality.
2. They want as many people hyped for this game before Driveclub's release as possible.
3. They are trying to get the holiday console purchases started ASAP.
Just my guess though. Either way this game looks AMAZING and is definitely the racer that gets me most excited.
You think it took all 3 years of developement for them to add a new movement type to COD? Let's be honest here if you think this is what their game was since day 1, you're insane.
Honestly for me it is kind of off putting, because I feel titanfall did it better, mechanically. I personally would prefer just waiting for titanfall 2 which will hopefully be more content rich and more modes. (As that was the big sting for the first) This new COD looks like they added those features last minute after seeing titanfall. (They just don't seem super polished) Who knows though, I have still yet to play Advanced Waefare yet, so I'll wait to decide, but as it stands I am a ...
100% agree, with one exception. If all you are looking for is graphics others might be better choices.
As far as features, customization, content, mechanics, etc it's no contest.
@abriel "You're confusing still looking good with being losseless. They're not the same thing."
Am I? I could have sworn I said.
"Sure there may be some VERY minor loss, but it mainly comes down to cost in most cases."
And in the case of almost every game this gen, I would say "VERY minor" would be an apt description. 100/100 times when a GAME looks less crisp it is due to hardware limitation, not compression.
@abriel you honestly have no clue what you are talking about based on your comparison. I am sure you feel smug with yourself since people who are also ill versed disagree with me. The reality is, just like a compressed rar file, (not like compression of a single jpeg file) compressed data files that these games use to run can be easily decompressed and are.
Again proof alone is shadowfall. With 1:7 compression it would not look that crisp, plain and simple. It gets decompres...
? Are you serious? Games are almost all compressed on their distribution medium, however when the console is running that content it is usually (if not always) fully decompressed. For example, they aren't running all their assets at 1:7 compression in killzone. (It's sad you think they are)
Sure there may be some VERY minor loss, but it mainly comes down to cost in most cases.
It sounds to me like you are confusing "optimization" with compr...
Um, most games this gen would have been. Killzone shadowfall was >250GB before compression.

Don't see what's so impressive about this statement.
Yea, two of the best selling new IP ever (watch dogs, destiny) and the number one selling xbox one game. Absolute disasters....
Hmm, wonder what's up. Luckily for me east coast never seems to be effected by these issues. Me and my friends are fine. Hope MS gets it back up for all users soon though, online play issues can be a real pain.
?? The product rockstar is releasing for PC and next gen blows this away. This isn't a great showcase ... usually the game should look better than the alternative. Then again, Rockstar is undeniably amazing.
yea, same, wouldn't expect a demo to replace the games for the month. Same as forza horizon's demo didn't keep GWG from their free titles.
@bad What is more funny, you claim neo has no clue what "resolution means," yet you don't even realize resokution is just a small portion of image quality. I actually prefer 16xMSAA, Tesselation and excellent Shading @720p over 1080p with none of that. Especially when that 720p image is upscaled to 1080p anyway.
Almost all games so far this gen have been so miniscule in difference it is neglible. The only BIG thing are the fanboys mouths.
