pavarotti and power of Green, if you hate this place so much then leave. Do us all a favour.
Having a larger online user base doesn't mean the experience is any better. I can find a match just as easily on the PSN as I can on XBL. I haven't had a problem with any online game on the PS3, and have only had a couple of experiences of lag. I went through a problem a while back of XBL not staying connected, rendering the service I paid for useless.
Well, the praise from owners and reviewers is pretty shocking for a "Mediocre platformer."
StephanieBBB is right. Your another fool who things sales make a game good.
You know, calling it 2D makes you look like an incredibly ignorant fool.
The thing is, at the end of the day, it didn't sell amazingly, but loads of people are enjoying it. That's all that matters. People who have actually played the game praise it, as do the reviews (which interestingly enough, are on average higher than every single game you listed nice_cuppa.)
"edit below: lol great comeback. the story and idea had been toyed with for that long, not the game! lol i did'nt realise developers have had dev kits for the 360 since 98, and they were in they're posession long before the original xbox!"
Mhmm. But firstly, with a ten year development it would have got a lot of cash thrown into it. With that long in development already, the developers/MS would have wanted to make the game as good as possible, so chances are it would ha...
Uhh. Too Human?
10 year development, that's twice that of Killzone 2, and likely had a similar amount of cash injected.
It really makes me laugh how people call it a flop because it didn't sell shocking amounts, when what people say about it and the reviews clearly show that it is a quality game that a lot of people like.
"Face it LBP was hyped up by Sony and every PS3 fan ate it up like a fat boy eats cake just how they always do when something comes out of Sonys mouth but the mass market isn't buying into it."
So you expect Sony not to hype a game? It's not a flop, it didn...
Uhh, because the negative comment isn't even true.
Because he's saying it like a fact, and there are videos that prove him wrong.
To add to that.
"but the multiplayer maps don't really give the engine much chance to show off."
It's a beta, there not going to be that many maps.
Seriously, how stupid is this guy?
Why are you still here? Go back to the open zone to your scummy fanboy brethren.
It's got this article because a lot of people reckon it's very similar to CoD4. Not because of the "dreaded Sony Fans". Yeah, XBL is bigger, but you can always find a match on PSN.
You know, this was quite a nice, friendly discussion until you came along and polluted it with your fanboy BS.
Yes, multiplatforms look the same. But show me a game on the 360 that looks anywhere near as good as this?
Because if it's too similar to the previous game you might as well not buy it.
You always bring up your Xbox vs PS3 crap. No, those games aren't worth $60, but R2 sure as hell is, ever played it?
Stop trying to turn every thing into a Xbox vs PS3 battle. It's pathetic. Go back to the open zone where you belong.
I'm pre ordering this. I actually can't wait for this game.
GoW3 + KZ2 = 2009: The Best year for gaming this gen.
You were mugged by some dude with orange eyes on the way home and need a day off to recover?
2008. Year of the idiotic fanboys.
Amiright?
So even if MS had no new games out this year, but broke 25m sales, it would be "year of the Xbox"?
But that is last gen. This gen is different.
Now, lets wrap these fanboys in a big box and ship them back to the open zone where they belong.
Nearly 25m just means over 20m to be honest. They do reckon by the end of the month, but they'll probably sell about 200k this month. If they're that close to 25m, then they would either just say they were at 25m, or not bother making this statement at all until they actually were at 25 million.
Strange. I could play LBP on release (UK release though) and same for MGS4. I even got that a day early and it's worked from launch.
