Before this week they had an even better deal buy 6 games and get 50 percent off the entire price. Luckily i took major advantage of that and picked up some really good games while that deal was on. Also just took advantage of this offer too though to fill in games i have been meaning to pick up and just haven't.

Don't understand the down votes here, the next gen games are still made with Next-Gen in mind. It truly is. I don't know anybody personally that is upset that they can play new and old games on one box. Microsoft has had an exclusives problem for a while and has bought several studios who are all actively working on games, which take time to make. Soon they will be able to show off exclusives as well, we just need to be patient and wait for it. Ultimately this will create great competition with Sony this round and force both companies to make better games. Its a win, win scena...

Well, you can still buy them digitally, and you were given the choice of consoles to buy as a consumer and chose a box that is less friendly to BC. This is the consumers choice and if you are interested in BC you chose the wrong one. Come on, its common sense.
I personally like Microsofts approach to BC. I think BC is a great way to preserve the legacy of games and makes it so you have one box in your entertainment unit that does it all. Finding space in entertainment centers and buying adapters to play games on old boxes just isn't that feasible. Microsoft's approach is great and makes my years of game collecting worth it. If i were to bet on it, i think Microsoft will release a new SKU for the Digital Version of the Series X. They will probably consider it when they decide to do a refresh of the console (slim) version down the line.
Do you all not remember the transition from the 360/PS3 to Xbox One and PS4? I feel like people are forgetting that we won't really be seeing people taking advantage of the hardware until about 2 years in. Even Demon Souls Digital Foundry breakdown was showing that the game ran at a fairly stable 60fps at 1440p. Likely it will also have a visual mode of 4k 30fps. Holy shit, completely forgot they made a mini version of the PS1. That picture brings back great memories.
Really excited to see the improvements made to an already great controller. I will say though, for Tony Hawks Pro Skater games, Dual Shock 4 is the better controller. For everything else, xbox has the controller on lockdown. Use my Xbox Elite controller with an XIM to play games with it on my PS4 for everything else.
Ended up being a sucker pre-ordering this even though i still feel it will be very bland, in hopes of it exceeding my expectations. Of course i still got Demon Souls, Sackboys Adventure and Miles Morales, so worst comes to worst i have stuff to play until CyberPunk consumes my life the following week.
Ray tracing is one of those things that won't really be fully realized with high resolution and decent framerates for some time. I understand the 3080 and 3090 can do it at barely above 60fps, but in order to take advantage of my monitor @ 5120x1440 and 120hz it is going to take some time. My guess is that i will have to wait for 2 generations of GPU's for 120fps + with ray-tracing to be fully realized.
