you need to learn the difference between 100% proven facts and cliched exaggeration.
you lost me with the Alan Wake comment.
Awful review, reads like it has been typed by a child just learning to write.
You talk about the PS3 being a blu-ray player first and a games console second but its still a better games console than the 360.
Wrong, you can re-download things from the PSN store as many times as you want to the same PS3/PSP but you can only download it to a maximum of 5 different machines.
So i can buy a PS1 game from the store and have it on my PS3, my PSP, my kids PS3, my kids PSP, and my mates PS3. On those 5 machines i can download it, delete it, re-download it as many times as a i want to.
Dont talk nonsense? Sony cant "shove out systems" onto retailers, its not within Sony's power to enforce onto stores how much stock they will buy.
Stores have purchasers, purchasers analyse demand based on sales data for that store and then order the required stock to cover a given period. They dont order to cover 1 weeks worth of sales, they order to cover months at a time and it will be the same for Xbox and Wii.
or there is the market share they can grab from each others core gamer crowd, teh very crowd that MS is truning its back on with Kinect and its multiplatform lineup.
I have tried Kinect and it was poo.
People need to stop retorting back with "you havent tried it so ner". Kinect has been on public display several times in Europe and the US. Ive tried it twice here in the UK and on both occasions i found it lacking.
No
It dosnt mean the game is bad but its still a shady practice to not let it be reviewed prior to release.
It dosnt give people as much time to get a balanced overview of the product and instead relies on people getting swept up in the excitement on launch day.
GAME which is the largest game retailer in the UK has had Move demo units set up in its store since launch.
Sony had an open day showing off Move games this summer months before launch – Beta Rooms
Sony have been showing Move tech demos LIVE since it was announced at E3 2009
You need to chill out and get your facts straight.
True, but the lack of CD meant that to most people the PS1 came across as better than the N64.
theres no reason it cant be on move, if it works on a pad then it can work on move.
Kinect controls games games but movement in space across X, Y & Z axis, move can track movement in those axis - shouldnt be a problem at all.
yeah, those achievements for getting killed 100 times or for committing suicide by jumping off a tall building and falling over 100 feet really help you as a gamer.
Nintendo have not had the most technically superior console in a generation since the SNES and that sold amazingly well - so what the hell are you talking about again ?
Optoma probably do, you should ask them.
to synchronise to the glasses and to feed the projector the alternating images.
No, if you already have a projector then you just add this box inbetween your ps3 and the projector and you get 3d images by wearing glasses just like a 3D TV.
Sure if you dont already have a projector then its a bit of a ballache but this is aimed at people who already have a projector setup.
It lags, get over it.
And yes i have tried it, it was available to play at covent garden in London - it lags and repeatedly had to be reset by the girl demonstrating it.
I have, its crap.
