@FrigidDarkness
They didn't buy that Dutch company to make an Xbox game look prettier.
MS is investing in cloud for Office 365 and Azure - products for which lag is not a major factor. Anyone who thinks cloud computing can impact graphics during this generation is going to be very dissapointed.
@nukeitall
If you had properly read those links instead of seeing what you want to see then you would know that what you have linked to is zero proof for what MS is claiming Xbox 1 can do
How very bohemian of you.
It's not about being professional, it's simply that there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. Just like you wouldn't try and wash a car with a turd in your bucket of water - that's wrong.
Pyjama's aside. Your lighting setup is wrong and your gameplay footage window is pointless. That's not you being a video editing rebel, that's simply you doing it wrong either because you don't no better or b...
Some video production tips for you.
1. Don't sit in front of a bright window. Your main light source should be on you not behind you.
2. Try And look the part. Looking like you just got out of bed and are still wearing pyjamas is not something people want to see or will take seriously.
3. If you are going to show gameplay footage in a window then don't have it so it obscures half your face - the entire purpose of having a window is so you can see bot...
He seems to focus a bit too much on the campaign which is something i couldnt give a toss about.
I want this game for the multiplayer.
I think Vita has done amazingly well with free games.
I've had Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048, Lumines, Metal Gear HD Collection, Thomas was Alone, Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat and im sure some other stuff that i havent even gotten around to because i was too busy playing all the above along with Soul Sacrifice (also about to become free on PS+) and Killzone.
So tell me again about how there isnt enough free vita games ?
Im a huge Sony fan and i still think it was unnessecary to put MP behind the paywall.
Free online was a big factor in choosing PS3 over Xbox for many people.
@lotd
We call that "waiting in line" rather than camping.
That's the actual size of the console.
It isnt 3D at launch but they have said they will add it later in a patch.
Bit since the Xbox division overall loses MS money then if they spun it off into a separate company that wasnt draining money from the main company then it would go out of business.
The problem is that the xbox division is losing money and shareholders aren't happy. They can either keep putting money in and make it profitable or they sell it off, just having it as a separate company still owned by MS won't fix the problem.
So what if the WiiU OS was slow? - it worked. you put a game in and it worked, it performed its primary function.
One of kinects primary functions (and pretty much the only function it is ever used for in games) is voice recognition. If 25% of its voice commands are not working then it is not performing its primary function.
As for the other crap you mentioned then none of that happened to me and again external HDD's are nothing to do with its primary fun...
Here's 3 products i bought at launch with zero issues - WiiU, Wii, PS3
or if you want phones as in your example - Samsung Galaxy 3, Samsung Galaxy Note, Sony Experia.
Maybe the secret of my success with electronics is that i just don't buy crap.
1. Its not a new product. Its Kinect 2 which according to MS themselves uses an improved version of the existing voice recognition software.
2. That's a completely stupid line of defense.
What you are saying makes perfect sense but its also completely pointless.
True fanboys want to be fanboys, they want bullshit cheap articles so they can argue over it, they enjoy it. No amount of rational explanation is going to make them sit up and go "wow, this guy is right. we are all feeding these crappy sites and wasting our time arguing over nonsense"
Congratulations on your new role btw. Drop me a message with the link to your site.
I got the bundle with the camera - my kids will love the playroom demo and i like the idea of live video chatting with my ps4 clan buddies before a match of KZ4.
As for the debate of "well you should use that money to buy more games" i say that there enough free to play games for me to try at launch that i can use that money for something different. At launch i am gonna be playing Killzone, Blacklight, Warframe, Resogun (free on PS+ i Believe) and probably some othe...
wow....
...thanks.....
I care because its a way of letting companies know what they did right and what they did wrong, then they can either come back with a better product or go out of business for not being able to provide a competitive product.
I care because i want better products.
Locked means it cant go above 30fps, not that it never dips below.
None of those links detail what part "the cloud" played in that demo.
Was it doing the rendering, the physics engine, or which I think is much more likely is that it was simply used for streaming the location data of the celestial objects.
Regardless, what MS say it can do and what is being shown in the launch games do not correlate. This demo talks about having "100,000 enemies on screen without buckling" but Dead Rising is reported to ha...
