Sure you can. You buy the collectors edition box set and it has a download code in it instead of a disk, your toy and other useless shit is all still there in the box.
Whoa, everyone needs to chill with the pitch forks a little bit.
i have an intense dislike for Sessler but this video which twists what he tweeted into calling the gaming community "mass murdering f**kheads" is total crap - thats not what he said.
he said that the gamer community has become intolerant, and that intolerance has matched the intolerance of those people who are very intolerant indeed - ie taliban-esque intolerant nuts.
...
In all fairness he makes fun of both sides of the great divide. I thought it was pretty funny.
It was a proof of concept done over a network, not a real time tech demo.
So no they didn't lie - you just misunderstood.
I use my PS3 as a DLNA player every day and the fact that sony has not included it as a feature has made me seriously reconsider my PS4 pre-order and just stick with my PS3.
And people are reading way too much into that tweet from Shuhei Yoshida. Saying you "will pass comments onto the team for future consideration" is in no way a confirmation that this is a matter being dealt with.
I'm just really disappointed that Sony would remove these featu...
Yes that's what i said - i find it absurd.
And if games and society are so connected then sexism is the last thing we should be debating. I would have thought violence, mass destruction to public property, points based dismemberment etc should all be much more worthy topics.
I don't think they are that connected, fantasy is fantasy, and i think it is a bit sad that people like Adam Sessler go looking for those connections in order to write articles t...
Honestly i find this entire sexism debate completely absurd, and the arguments people use to counter the points raised by the pro-sexism crew are even more absurd.
This isn't real life and i think anyone who plays a video game and see's a sexism issue needs to get a life. Likewise those who feel a need to counter the issue need to stop feeding the idiots.
@B-radical
Are you kidding me ? Sessler was the one who had a tantrum over the name of a trophy in God Of War Ascension and marked its review score down because of it.
That's the very definition of making a big deal out of nothing.
thou shalt not spam
"This is my opinion on a load of questions that have already been answered many times" would have been a more accurate title.
woot - manchester !
If they make it the complete opposite of SOCOM 4 then they will have a really good game.
If you can't figure that out for yourself then its probably too late for you.
I agree.
Best multiplayer game i have played in ages. It makes a really nice change from the usualy onslaught of FPS games.
Its good that you don't care about bubbles but if I was you I would care about looking like a total bell-end.
like i said, it had a funny picture.
This is leaning a bit towards fanboy ranting, but it has a picture of Don Mattrick next to a turd so i approve.
"Kinect isn't something developers are going to fully know how to implement into gaming day one"
Errr....why not? Developers have had its predecessor for the past couple of years to try ideas out on (they all sucked btw) and they would have had Kinect 2.0 dev kits to develop next gen kinect applications on - so where are they ?
Where is even the MS equivalent of Sony's playroom tech demo ?
Totally agree with AC.
The first one was actually a game about assassination that required planning and strategy. Now they aren't even about assassins anymore and are just a mediocre action game.
He's talking specifically about tolerance -not killing people, not being a power mad dictator - tolerance. We both know its a hot topic in recent gaming news with all the "Marcus Beer: Blowfish" incident so there is a context for what he is saying.
That video is taking it out of context, twisting it, and exagerating it into something absurd that can be used as a tabloid headline -"Adam Sessler calls all gamers mass murdering f**kheads".
