So CAPCOM actually starts turning a decent profit and they think this is a good way to invest said profit. Doesn't make sense to me - it works out to just $300 Aus.
Although you're correct in calling it a remake, doing so in a dismissive tone is for the game a disservice.
It really is a class above others at this point. Has to be played and experienced to appreciate it.
Its been know for quite some time that Bluepoints next game is a new ip. I'm sure they'd prefer to be owned by Sony than to go it alone.
If you saw the DS credits, they are very tight with Sony.
Neonridr - is buffig wrong to think that? I don't think he is.
Looking in to it, it appears my comment was wrong. Masayasu Ito alluded that to keep up technology advancements they'll likely introduce a Pro model halfway through the PS5's life cycle. Which he also stated would be about 6 - 7 yrs.
Sony normally works on a 10yr life cycle, introducing the next console about 7 or so yrs into those 10yrs.
That says to me the if he's saying a 6 - 7 yr life cycle, they'd likely introduce PS6 around 2025/26...
Steve pushes hardware beyond normal use, puts them in extreme circumstances. So take his findings, Sonys findings, work out the average - and I'm sure temps will be fine.
Consoles don't run or are designed to run like PC's - I'm also sure the PS5 runs cooler than the PS4 & PS4Pro. Not once did either of those consoles (for me) have any trouble (apart from fan noise).
I've played PS5 (Demons Souls) all day in above average ambient...
Sony has already said there won't be a pro.
darth - wasn't the xsx for the best place to play 3rd party games?
Well that's been well and truly knocked on the head.
Best sell it and stick to PS5 - the best place to play 3rd party games and the best AAA exclusives.
Not a disastrous launch at all - some people will always miss out.
I'd say by nearly every metric its been an outstanding launch.
My mate hates rumble, and always turned it off. I asked him if he would do the same with Dualsense - he said he wasn't sure. Fast forward 2 weeks and he loves it. I think rumble is a "dumb" way to convey what is on screen, Dualsense takes it up a few notches.
An example would be shooting a gun, it will feel different from game to game. Same with a driving game.
The Haptics in Astro are stronger than Demons Souls or GodFall.
Haven't you already? The Dirt5 dev is going to patch in a better implementation of the Dualsense. I think support for it going forward is a given, why wouldn't there be?
Let's not forget inflated numbers, atrocious failure rates (that were originally disputed), 1 to 1 1/2 year headstart around the world. And still they end up losing. Look at the player base the ms has now - why so low? I put down to reliable hardware haha
Kick Sony out of the industry - that talk is good for television, don't put too much stock in stuff like that.
ms needs games and quick. Because right now that tail is planted between their legs...
Don't know why you're getting disagrees - 240hz motion flow or whatever label manufactures put on it isn't the same thing as 120fps.
You might want to check that mate - fair chance that's marketing speak not fact.
I've got a mate that's the same - we call him Bender when it happens, but it also happened on PS4. We've all put it down to a slow connection speed on his end.
Noise? None to speak of on my end, installing from disc ramps up the UHD drive - that's it. PS5 is pretty much silent and runs cool too.
People can't understand the simple message that was given - Not all tersflops are created equal - it was pushed aside. Mark is a genius, and deserves to listened to - not just heard. Big difference.
Few people out there with their pants down.
Yep - it wasn't long after the xbox one launch we started hearing about the power of the cloud.
I wonder what's going to be the magic solution this time.
It was never going to mate, Sony understands what 3rd party devs want.
A large install base to sell too, and an easy environment to develop in.
Both areas Sony excels in.
Jeremy is a sad sack at times, his content got boring long ago.
