Rushed product? LOL.. you can't be serious. MS projected 7 million and they lowered it to 6.2 million. Which is still quite a bit more than they launched with the xbox 360 which was a huge success, going on to sell 80 million consoles.
The link you provided is estimates and doesn't give a source. But if I were to take a guess, I would say 6.2 million xbox ones and 7.5 million ps4'...
Forza & Titan Fall
Both games utiize the cloud in one way or another and both games have been racking up the awards & will likely get plus 9 review scores when they launch based on the gaming journalist who have tried them and rave about them.

Developers have already said that the cloud can be used to offload data for games. Any time you can free up the hardware and offload data, it means you can better utilize the consoles hardware for graphics.

If the report is accurate, that's not bad. If they can ship 6.2 million consoles from November to December, they will surely sell out. I believe the xbox 360 sold 5 million consoles in that same time span at it's launch if my memory is correct.
I would be shocked if before & after Christmas you could find any xbox one's sitting on store shelves for more than a couple days.
If you actually read the article they say nothing about the 1 to 1 precision not being there. It was actually the opposite.

Sounds about right. This is great news for gamers. We will be playing next gen games a full week before the ps4 launches. We all have friends who are getting a sony gamer, best believe they will be coming over and getting a look at the xbox one is action.
Also, the amount of news Microsoft will get from the press and talk shows will be insane. Anyone on the fence will read & see all the positive press and start to get excited about getting a new console.

Exactly right. The amount of money and next gen tech that went into the xbox one is incredible. Sony doesn't have the deep pockets that Microsoft has. Sony went with off the shelf parts and Microsoft customized everything, essentially making it one heck of a gaming console. Kinnect alone as a stand alone would retail for 250 and the xbox one without kinnect would easily be 400 if not more.

Not the same as the xbox one. The ps4 still needs to use a core or two for hd audio...The xbox one has 2 cores outside of the 8 cores specifically for the hd audio.
Microsoft has stated from back when they first announced the xbox one that simple numbers don't even come close to defining what the xbox one can do and it definitely doesn't paint the complete picture needed in regards to developing next gen games.
