The Xbox 360 is still selling very well. Games & consoles are still topping the charts in the USA. The big question I have is how many xbox one gamers (Like Myself) are not pre ordering any xbox one games due to the fact that I plan on going all digital. I personally hope this doesn't happen, but what "IF" they have a Kinnectless Xbox One and the price is 299 or 349 at launch! Now, that would definitely change the tide in regards to SALES. But for me, it would mean that Kinnect may not be utilized as well as I would like. One thing is for sure. Kinnect 2 is a huge leap over Kinnect 1 and Kinnect 1 was 129. Kinnect 2 if sold separately would be at least $150 to $200 dollars.

The Kinnect is part of the xbox one. If you won't want it, you have two choices.
1. Don't buy the xbox one
2. Buy the Xbox one and unplug the Kinnect.

I look at it like this, If you don't want kinnect & all of the gaming & non gaming next gen features it enables you to have, then don't buy an xbox one. LOL...if all you want is updated graphics, buy the ps4. That's exactly what the ps4 is. Better graphics plus now they want you to pay to play onine. I have two xbox ones pre ordered and 1 ps4. But, same here. I haven't pre ordered one game for the xbox one. I'm going ALL digital. One day we are going to look back and say, "You had to put that, in there, just to play a game" LOL... Most of my friends on Xbox live per ordered the Xbox one right on the Xbox 360 dashboard. I would assume many of the 47 million Xbox live gamers are choosing the same method.

Sony is about appeasing the consumers and Microsoft is about that too, they just believe that doing that requires appeasing the developers...which in return...LIKE STEAM...Game prices drop, bigger games can be made, and consumers ultimately save money in the end.
Consumers could only see what's in front of their face and couldn't see the benefit a year or two from now with going disc less & digital...So MS is now trying to appease both...
The cool thing is that the top 20 on Amazon is split even with 9 of the top 20 being xbox products and 9 being sony products...And the xbox one is still holds the #1 spot though it's their is only one version selling at this point and a higher price! People who thought price would be an issue is proven wrong with Xbox One being the best seller on Amazon.
