LOL...Exactly! Us grown men who make money, have our own house & cars don't scream and rant on the internet. So while we might not be loud...we speak with our money! Sounds about right to me. A bunch of teenage boys or grown men who live in their mom & dads basement flood the internet and sites like this and cried about the DRM & always online and Microsoft changed their policies.

A price drop would be great, I just hope they don't do it by making the Kinnect 2 optional. I believe in integrating it in with the new console so developers can find better ways to use it for gaming. I'm not so much into the motion stuff, but I dig the voice stuff like in Elder Scrolls.
Kinnect 2...It's a huge leap up from the original Kinnect technically. 1080p camera..used for voice command in games, in the dashboard, for TV, for movies, and for music...Not to me...

Most likely, the cloud with be used for games that you need to play online anyway! TitanFall is an online ONLY game. I'm sure more games will be like that, and that's fine by me! Not all games will use the cloud, but the ones that do will benefit greatly..

Reinstate family sharing for digital purchases and allow us when we first register our console to go ALL Digital even with the Game Discs. If Microsoft were to offer users a choice between owning a physical disc and being able to share games with friends family, I expect we'd see people gleefully fill up their hard drives with games that couldn't be sold or traded.

I agree with everything he said in the article/rant. I'm very upset with Microsoft changing their policies and caving in to the gamers not ready for the next gen. Dare I say it. The Xbox one is just the Xbox 360 now with better graphics.

I have a possible solution. When you register your console you can choose the always online model or play from disc model of doing things. When you select always online you can family share with other always online devices.
If they do that they will make everyone happy. I would be willing to be that 2/3 of the consoles will choose always online.
I need to hear more about what is going on! I'm not happy if they are changing the family share. I was really excited about that.
I'm also not happy in how this may or may not help with the cloud for games. Developers won't invest if they aren't guaranteed a large user base is always connected.

Proof that the xbox one is for the future and not the current or past is the fact that you have to have an HD Television in order to use the xbox one. No one is complaining about the small percentage of people in rural countries who don't even have an HD television. LOL...It's the same exact thing.

Microsoft has said all along that it will be up to the game publishers if there are any restrictions on used games.

let me explain some details of the family sharing on the xbox one!
1. You can't be in more than 1 family/friend circle.
2. What ever circle you are in, all games are shared in one library of games. Example: everyone buys 3 games and you all have access to 30 games where ever you go. No need to carry around game discs.

DRM was and is necessary! Used game sales are good for the consumer & good for Gamestop and mom & pops stores, but not good for the game developers or publishers. Anyone who doesn't understand that is mentally challenged and I have to question their level of education completed.
You should only be able to sell the game back to the publisher/developer of the game. They made it and they should re-sell it. NOT GAMESTOP!
