It's selling better than the orginal xbox & the xbox 360. Its a launch. It's a new console. I believe their goal of selling 1 million is low ball figure. It will likely sell more than that.
What does it matter if it's sold to retail or sold to consumer? Retailers order what they feel will sell thru.

On Amazon the customer reviews are insane. Bad review after bad review from verified customers. It's really unfortunate. It's overall rating on Amazon is 2 1/2 stars. I think Sony packed in too much power in too small of a case, with cheap parts to sell it at 400 dollars. It's just my opinion, but with a 33 % failure rate, it only makes sense. Reviews are saying that the console is very loud, especially when installing games. And if you can get it to actually work or log into PSN...
That's great news for Sony after a day of bad news. The Ps4 is getting 1 star after 1 star on Amazon from Verified buyers and it's a very angry mob of Sony fans to boot. I personally am very happy I canceled my pre order. Right now the failure rate is at 33% and that's insane.

I'm just happy that 2k games proves that if you take the time, you can get your game to run 1080p 60 fps on both consoles at launch. And from the reviews, it's a game that shows off the graphics for the next generation. And both versions look identical at that. Go figure!
Well all these reports on the ps4 failing, it's definitely made me lean towards deciding to cancel my pre order. That coupled with the low review scores of the 2 games I was thinking about getting at launch. It makes more sense now to take that 400 and buy more xbox one games at launch. I'll probably just wait for Sony to fix the hardware issues and when better AAA games get released eventually. I tell you what though, I'm super excited about the xbox one launch. Games...Games.......
That's your opinion. I believe that the 400 dollar cheaper console that's been having issues crashing and bricking is inferior. And this is coming from a guy who's 2nd favorite console of all time was the original playstation. And a guy who has the ps4 pre ordered but is now debating on canceling my preorder due to the low review scores and failing systems. hmmm...now which is inferior???
Wow, that is disappointing! I hope it's an isolated incident. If not, I may have to cancel my pre-order! I was already debating due to the low review scores for the 2 games I was interested in. Now with the hardware failures, I may just wait till they fix the issue and release better games.

The question I would ask is simple and would be a lot more telling. In the interview he already clarified that the ram difference played "NO" part in the reason ps4 is 1080p and the xbox one version is 720p. Reviews are already stating that the framerate for the ps4 version is unstable and inconsistent to say the least. In a game like COD, I would prefer slightly less detail (barely noticeable due to the performance of xbox ones hana 2 hardware upscale chip) and faster/better frame...
