Sony had an extra year to build up stock of their units...and from the look on store shelves around the world....They most definately have no shortages of its PS3. No longer can people say the xbox brand only good for FPS games. While yes the best FPS games are to be found on the 360....Its now home to JRPG's and many other game types. I think MS has done a masterful job securing a variety of games this time around. I'm so looking foward to this game, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect ,Two Worlds , and Huxely.
Its refreshing to hear some honesty from a Sony Fan. Thats the best way to go if you can afford it. Get the ps3 and the 360. You don't loose out any any Next Gen content. And you can always pick and choose what version of what game to get depending on which is better.
On the back of my HD dvd King Kong...It clearly states U Control. And I watched it today after the update and utilized it. I don't know what to tell you buddy.

1. With the starting price of the Ps3 being twice as much as the starting price of the Ps2....I price drop won't be nearly as effective. You see, 200 dollars and under has always been the sweet spot for game consoles and electronics....It won't sell at a massive level until it can hit that price point. I've encountered simular type stories. That would be an interesting statistic...how many ps3's get returned or exchanged for the 360. I know of or have witnessed it happen a good 8 times personally. My son thinks I should return my ps3. But, I can't and won't do it. At some point, there should be a game "exclusive" to the ps3....that I don't want to miss out on. Thats my problem. I never want to miss out on "new" stuff. Its my hobby/addiction... Plus, I enjoy watch...

Area 51 demo on the 360....Looks waaaaaaaaay better than Resistance. In my opinion and many of my friends and fam....its laughable to even compare Resistance to it or just about any FPS game on the 360.

The 1080p movies on it are unbelievable. I can't wait to see what the update is for it in the morning. I finally found a copy of Planet Earth on HD dvd...Everywhere I went...Best Buy, Walmart, ect....they were always sold out. They always had blu ray copies in stock...But my experience is...if its out on both Blu ray and HD dvd...the HD dvd always looks better and has much more features to boot. I don't know why that is...but it stands true...Even on Movie Review sites...they say the same...
I agree with both of you. This game looks like we we finally get a True Off Road Racer. With better graphics, lighting, and damage. I can't stand when you crash or hit a bump in Motorstorm, your little buggy breaks apart in 1000's of pieces....I want a true off road racing experience...with many tracks and vehicles to choose from...And it looks like Collin will provide all that and then some.

By may/june of 2006...MS sold a little over 5 million consoles. We will see if Sony reaches that number. Nintendo has already hit that number...they are headed towards 6 million in the same amount of time.
