All the other major studios release on both formats. Blu ray and HD dvd....
HD dvd has the advantage due to In Movie Experience and U Control. Those features are truly next gen and make the difference when I decide which version to get...
But I have compared them in my home. And the 360 version looks much better on my 1080p tv. Its not even close.
But to be honest...thats the case with every single 3rd party game released thus far.
Its a big selling point for the 360....
Not only does the 360 have an un believable lineup of exclusive games....but every 3rd party game looks and plays better. Oh, and the 360 is cheaper to boot.

Command and Conquer is SUPERB on the 360....And they are making this game specifically for the 360....It will be spectacular guarenteed. 2008 is looking to be fantastic for the 360....but its hard to look that far ahead with all the AAA games releasing this year. The Ps3 hasn't had one game in the top 10 selling list since its launch. If you actually think they both have hit the one million mark...Well then that would mean 1 out of every 3 ps3 owners bought both of those games. And I doubt that very very seriously.
The ps3's game to console attatch rate is horrible. Its 1.6 games sold per console. lol..... Sony fanboys do all this talking but yet they don't even support their console where it matters most....But some damn games......

Microsoft slowed down its shipments. MS only shipped 700,000 that quarter. We can all take guesses as to why. But it has absolutely nothing to do with the demand for the 360.
If anything it most likely has to do with them preparing for a price drop and the new and improved chipset so there are less problems in the future with the red rings.
MS has the ability to ship out 2 million a quarter if they wanted. But more isn't better if the failure rate is above av...

I went to my local EB Games/Gamestop store and saw a big sign stating the Ps3 is now 499.99. I asked my relative who is a manager there if the sales have picked up since the announcement. He told me not at all. He told me the sales are the same and they still have a lot of Ps3's to sell.
I then went to Walmart and low and behold....there were many ps3's in the casings.... I thought I saw somewhere that they were sold out at walmarts...when I asked the guy in the video game sec...

We will see when NPD releases their monthly figures for USA sales. I would assume that the Ps3 sales would be much higher this month. More in line with 360 sales....at least while the price cut is in effect. If the Ps3 sells any less than 200,000 for the month of July....I don't know if anything can help Sony at that point. I mean what more can they do? They drop the price by 100 dollars and they throw in Blu ray movies....

Your right. But Moore was asked a question and thats why he is commenting on it. And those numbers sound huge...6 to 1 and 27 to 1. But the fact of the matter is total worldwide sales....The 360 is slightly behind the Wii and selling 2 to 1 over the Ps3. Thats since both the Wii Launch and the Ps3 launch. Thats amazing since the 360 has essentially maintained its 6 million console lead over the Wii and has actualy grown its lead ever month since the ps3 launch against Sony. WOW.
I love the effort by MS securing great games and building a nice library for Japanese gamers. As long as the 360 sells more than the original xbox when its all said and done. And its doing just that so far....Halo 2 has sold 100k in Japan. We can expect at least that. I know shooters aren't popular in Japan. But 100k in Japan is respectable. Sony is far behind what the ps2 did in Japan. And the Wii isn't showing any mercy.
