High or low scores we all expected and wanted this game to be great. With MS recourses, new engine and a lot more time to develop and this is what they have show for it ?
I don’t blame MS like I said before. They gave them support , resources, time and new engine to work on to so it’s on the developers. A game could miss on a lot of aspects and we can work around it but when GAMEPLAY is weak in a game that’s just absurd
Sadly that’s what it ended up being with so little gameplay. I mean these studios are now failing and it’s on them. I don’t blame MS at all. They are giving these studios support and resources now it’s up to the studios to manage. If this is what NT can deliver than would any of us be surprised if they are shut down next? End of the day it’s a business and those that make money stay in business and those who squandered opportunities don’t.

Remember for honor and how much hate it got for the ridiculous amount of micro transactions and player progress be behind a pay wall. Well guess what it’s still going on and one of most successful games for UBI. We think few weeks of hate or dislike matters when most publishers plan for that and start pushing it harder ...
Agreed especially for those who aren’t hardcore gamers. We core gamers look at everything through core gamers POV. But there is a much bigger casual market who likes looking at pretty things

My guess is we will be much closer to 3090. Even on AMD side some of these graphics card cost more than PS5 and XSX.
I agree with you. I rather not have realize because realize comes at the cost of FUN. I much rather have fun gameplay than photorealistic graphics. Now a days so many games forget to add fun to the games. Gaming industry grew too quickly and now we have non gamers running companies based on spreadsheets. One of the worst examples is Andrew Wilson the CEO of EA. While laying off thousands and talking about adding ads to games he himself makes 25-40 million per years in bonuses

Believe it or not when it comes to consoles and games graphics are still the biggest factor. Why do you think we still see CHI trailers or in engine footage. The first impression is very important. Not for us core gamers but for millions of casuals who are quite easily impressed with wow factor graphics

MS don’t invest 100 billion to make few console warriors happy who would buy the Xbox branded console anyway. They want generate the revenue, which in return will generate more profits end of the day it’s all the spreadsheet and whether we like it or not just selling on Xbox is not going to help them on their spreadsheets

Besides few core fanboys rest gamers understand the huge potential for PlayStation’s games on PC. Same applies for Xbox games on PlayStation. We as gamers may not like it or understand it but there are billions at stake. More money these companies generate the bigger budgets and resources they can allocate for future projects

Ghost of Tsushima has set a high bar for games in the vein of Assassin’s Creed. While having more options is generally beneficial, Ubisoft seems to struggle with their direction, which can sometimes undermine those benefits. If it was not for the success of Tsushima I don’t think we would ever get assassin Creed game in Japan. Even now sucker punch are a much much smarter team of developers that did Tsushima And now we have Ubisoft who have 15 studios helping making one game
For a studio like sucker punch that sucks. They are one of the nicest studios in the world and deserve all the success

Yes PC market is all digital. I was speaking for console gaming. I know even now if given the option I want go add physical games to my collection
