We all can see the days of square enix being 3rd party are coming to an end which is really sad because they have so many valuable IP’s only if they manage them properly.

Their fanboys can make all excuses and defending them however they want but like you also said facts are MS wants results. Phil can’t talk from both sides of his mouth. Did you see how tone deaf they were with their responses because they are so used to people defending them nonstop. Limelight is on Xbox and MS wants them to show progress. That’s why there are rumors of price increase on Xbox game pass.

lol are you serious? Let’s see

First game is on PC and so will the rest

Switch can’t run FF remakes

Xbox again I ask are you serious? Xbox game sales accounts for such little piece of the pie in overall gaming that there are publishers doubting if they could recover their development and porting costs for Xbox versions

The real issue here is square enix just can’t stop releasing 1-2 re...

MS aren’t looking for cult classics. They didn’t spend almost 100 billion to make cult classics. Before these acquisitions Xbox was a brand MS supported without much expectations and pressure but not anymore. Companies don’t invest 100 billion and than let them be.

For the 1st time in Xbox brands history there is pressure on them to deliver and make profits. The days of gamepass are also numbered but the subscription itself will be priced much higher moving forward. ...

Their sports titles are played by mostly casuals and so ads won’t make a difference to the gamers. What I don’t get is for a industry to generate so much money there are still astonishing levels of greed

Come on man. I guess now some people have figured out how to defend a multi trillion corporation. GP can’t be sustained with AAA games and if that’s how they will proceed than a lot more closures are ahead. Xbox use to be a meaningless brand for MS but when MS invests 100 billion they expect results. So the days of GP seeing all AAA games day one are really coming to and end a lot sooner than People want to believe

Xbox gamers don’t buy a lot ...

Never signing up for anything that has to do with UBI. Their games go on deep sales within a very short period of time. Just wait and pay under $30 while waiting longer means gold editions for $25

It’s good but not great. The ending is really rushed and you can tell 2 games are squeezed into one. First game is a standout but honestly sequel had its moments but the last 25% of the game was rushed

That’s true but keep in mind COD is the best selling or top 3 selling game every year. So yes micro transactions money is there but so are billions more

They should have tiers of GP subscriptions and the higher end tier received AAA games while everyone else gets them in 60 days

Absolutely not, their whole plan is at odd with what MS wants

Phil wants GP to become big
MS wants to sell games and make billions

GP can’t be sustained with AAA games which take 3-5 years and 7 figure budgets. Only go put those games on GP day one. Why do you think games are coming out on other platforms?

People want a change and want Phil gone without realizing if someone new comes along they may want to change everythin...

GP is like any content service it needs new content. AAA games take 100 plus million (low end estimates since most AAA games take double that) and it 4-5 years to develop. That’s why there were 2 god of war games instead of 3 because Cory felt like it would take too long

I am not defending MS. That’s just the reality when you put all your eggs in one basket (gamepass) and now they need content. Sadly that’s what we all said would happen and is happening. GP will be a ...

If they are smart they don’t put COD on GP day one. It’s one of the best selling games on yearly basis

As a long time PlayStation fan I don’t like this Sony. They have been so greedy lately even though they are making a lot of money. This Sony will become too full of themselves and screw up just wait and watch. This is just how obnoxious they had become during the PS2 era. Forget about being pro gamers right now they are only pro profits

Just cancel it because we know you won’t be happy with its sales performance while giving it away on GP day one. GP is the biggest issue for developers and that affects the sales. No one can deny that now. GP equals to good deal for gamers and bad deals for AAA development. Take two CEO said it and he was 100% right. There are certain games that make sense on GP but not every game. 20 million gamers playing a game on GP doesn’t mean much to MS it seems because they still want sales. J...

Atleast don matrick competed and knew what it took to compete. Phil can’t stop speaking from both sides of his mouth

Since 2011-2012, the Xbox brand has faced challenges due to significant management issues. The latter years of the Xbox 360 era were lackluster, with anticipation building for the next generation, yet the Xbox One ultimately disappointed consumers. This misstep has led to Xbox falling far behind competitors like PlayStation and Nintendo.

I think his days are numbered TBH. Spending 80 million of all acquisitions yet can’t even compete with others it’s insane

This also proves gamepass isn’t as profitable as Xbox fanboys make it out to be

I was hoping once MS acquisition went through that we will see some major positive changes. This could have been a huge positive PR move by MS/Phil. Instead they squashed it

The moment The acquisition went through. They should’ve come out and said we will no longer be releasing call of duty on early basis we will prefer quality over quantity. We are looking into micro transactions in many games to make sure we have consumer, friendly practices and policies. And moving fo...

I keep buying more games and never getting around to playing them. Nothing against it being on PS5. I am a PlayStation fan but recently moved to PC gaming and IMO it’s better (tired of micro transactions on consoles)

Mods and single player game cheats are awesome on PC. (I miss the days of cheat codes but kha available on PC)

I own it on PS5 but can’t wait to enjoy it on PC. Never got around to playing it on PS5. Sucker punch are one of my favorite game developers (still hoping for another infamous or at the very least infamous 1-2 Remastered collection)
