Those are most probably not finals dates when games don't have release dates they will day 12/30/2021
We have sort of shed this conventional wisdom that games kind of need to be a hardass in order for you to get satisfaction out of it," "Rift Apart" game director Mike Daly told Axios, of his team's new approach to game challenge.
The bottom line: Daly says his team's work on making the new game more accessible transformed their mindset about making the game more approachable.
"We no longer think about, like, 'What will make...
Yes but at least give the option like they did. Some of those time puzzles in crack in time were awesome and difficult but it was peace of mind King of feeling knowing I can skip if I get stuck
as the game development cosy rises we will see more and more of these publishers who want to attract the biggest fan base possible to make as much money as possible
i think what's interesting is sony knows it needs few MP games and that's why they have signed deals with 2nd party (newely formed studios) who's founders are big time ex FPS devs(COD and Destiny if i am not wrong)
this way they let their own studios do what they know best and that's to make amazing gaming experiences(i do hope more of sony's studios work on RPG's)

we had this conversation the other day too. Books don't stop you from reading do they? and there are audios of books available because even that industry understands accessibility. you still have not answered my question:
how does me playing witcher 3 or any other single player/off line game on story/easy affect your experience of the same game?
you may play witcher 3(using it as an example) on ultra hard for challenge while i maybe playing it on...

I think it's time for the industry you have clear definition of what is AAA Blockbuster game and what is AA budget title. With so many indie developers the price market has kind of gone all over the place. if you look back around the PlayStation 2 and Playstation 3 days and same for Xbox and Xbox 360 we had the mega publishers but we also had those publishers that were making AA games for $40-50. Now it seems most publishers are only interested in AAA games...
I think moving forward most games especially single player games that you can play offline should give you more accessibility options not just straight up difficulty options but other accessibility options. Some people have difficulty with puzzles so games make it easy some people have difficulty with combat you can make that easy the last tomb raider game offered really deep accessibility options when it came to difficulty.
Of course there should still be games like souls...

They don't have any legit point. How do you playing Witcher 3 on story mode affects me playing on hard? How does that affect my experience of the game? It really doesn't and that's a fact.
And trust me developers know this that's why we are seeing more accessibility features. The best selling series in gaming history as in Grand theft Auto v allows you to skip missions after you fail certain number of times. So even Rockstar g...

Just giving my personal opinion
Let me just ask you one question why does it bother you or anybody else for that matters when it comes to a game that has a easy difficulty or cheat codes? How does a single player game that I am playing on easy or with chests enabled effects your experience from the same game in any way?
This get good argument is nonsense when I was single especially in school playing on ultra hard was ea...

Because don't you know everybody's a macho man on this side and every game inside everybody plays souls like games and are masters at them and are pros at speed runs
I never understand how a game having easy difficulty or story difficulty affects another gamers experience

Without crowd funding this game wouldn't be releasing. Because it was Sony and playstation fans who mostly supported this along with PC. Sony even help double fine with being back classics
And it shows the true colors of Ms and their executives especially major nelson and Phil Spencer. They talk anti-exclusives and being available on other platforms and open-minded yet their actions completely are opposite of their words
My dude we use to have cheat codes and they went away because now those can be sold as micro transactions (in RE2 you can literally buy dlc that would give you unlimited life and ammo and unlock best guns)
This stuff use to be cheat codes

How is that the same thing? Physical sports compared to video games? Seriously why would it bother you me or anyone if developers found ways to make it easy for everyone to be able to enjoy. ND and insomniac recently have done a nice job of giving a lot of accessibility options (and I am sure many other developers are doing the same)
This is something I just don't get it. Even gamer is a macho man when it comes time to talk about diffi...
This is great more games should offer this. Not everyone plays for challenge some of us with kids just want to play for an hour and feel like we had fun and made progress. Unlimited ammo and health makes games a lot more fun.
Not saying games like souls needs this but most other games should allow it. Even in GTA5 if you fail few times it will offer if you want to skip that mission and move on. But than in game like RDR2 it doesn't even let you enable cheats and s...

The Switch OLED Model is more of a half-step than an upgrade(this opinion is invalid and simply giving praise to Nintendo where none is deserved what so ever)
Just a new screen with same joycons with drifting issues, same battery and cost $50 more. This is how they charged $60 for a cardboard box and got praised for that too. Gaming media can't be neutral when it comes giving fair opinion on Nintendo

Sure sure it was all fake rage that's why they had to issue refunds for digital and physical sales. Get delisted from the biggest home console platform. Don't allow early reviews, don't allow footage go be shown after certain point of game, not allowed to show any footage from consoles for reviews, lied about having gone through a lot play testing and game playing fine only to have that footage leaked and it showed they knew ahead of time of all the...

Witcher 3 is being handled by an external developer. I think you maybe underestimating. Because CD project red invested a lot of money into this and they have future expansions planned they much rather fix this game right so in the future when they release expansions they got more support
I can see them announcing a next generation version later on this year around fall with release date for early 2022
