As long as a game is playable and has no major tech issues it's automatic a 5-6/10 and if it's fun you can add few more points

Yes you are right that's why Sony has a huge backlog of games that they can Port over to PC. Their newer games would still most likely remain exclusive to PlayStation 5 and will be ported on game by game basis. I don't think PlayStation 5 games would come to PC on the day of launch. Sony is still in the business of selling his hardware unlike Microsoft and Xbox Sony depends on Playstation revenue to generate a lot of his profit

Yes people don't realize how much it costs to get those 3rd party AAA games on GP. Games make their biggest profits within first 4-6 weeks(selling at full price) so if a publisher thinks their game will move 3 million copies on Xbox series x, and once they put it on GP it sells only 1 million than Ms will have to cover the other 2 million in sales( 2 million at $70 a copy is $140 million and by having the game on GP Ms may not be able to take their full 30%

I don't think that's an achievement. I much rather support a console and company pushing tech. I have always said if it was up to Nintendo we wouldn't have the Xbox series x over the PlayStation 5 kind of specs. I don't have to spin it in any way because facts don't change it was an amazing handheld that let you play games on the go and on big screen

Jeff grubs for example said kojima is working with Microsoft, yet if this ends up being something that kojima is involved in and is own PlayStation exclusively, then Jeff grub who already has very spotty reputation among gamers will see his reputation being tarnished even more

I don't know if we will ever get that data bit would be very interesting to see the early numbers. Because these consoles aren't readily available people who want one with disk drive could end up getting all digital if they don't have a choice.

What do you mean they don't understand PC gamers? because this makes total sense release the game on PlayStation 5 then wait 2-3 years and release it ok PC. TBH with you I am fine if it comes day one because those who play on consoles will always play on consoles. I could see them holding back their big games for a while before pc release but other titles I could see coming to PC sooner

It's this same thinking that has gotten us into this much trouble, because too many gamers felt like it doesn't affect me so why should I care? and now Micro transactions are in single-player games. Stuff like unlimited health unlimited ammo etc used to be cheat codes but now a lot of that has been turned into stuff that you can buy instead of unlocking or using cheat codes

For sure I think something will have to change. Big publishers spend upwards of hundred million dollars on AAA Blockbuster games they want to see sales. It will be very interesting to see once they have gamepass data and few years of Xbox series x/s sales how they make adjustments

I am so glad I usually only play SP games because these MP games are like work now with each new update. These companies want to charge as much as possible for new content than release a brand new $70 game on top of it. These FPS are becoming like sports titles: very little updated work but charge full price
