Your Xbox 360 version will still work on all consoles so this update isn't required to play the game. I don't think remasters and or remakes should be free

So what's the difference because most on Xbox side praise it and make it seem like it's the best thing since sliced bread? If you think GP has value for you more power to you enjoy and if someone else thinks owning the game makes better personal decision so be it. Rockstar could have definitely done a lot better job there no question in my mind about that. There isn't even a comparison between rockstar and cdpr. People for some weird reason thought after Witcher 3 cdpr were on same level as R*, kojima, ND etc but they are clearly not

Play in hard and get that experience while another game could play on casual or story and enjoy other aspects of the game. What is great is so many developers are now giving more accessibility options. I don't think me playing a single player Souls like game on story mode affects your experience playing on default difficulty

But is that really a dog at next generation consoles or ssd? Because PS3 was quite powerful for it's time. Jak and Dexter didn't have load screens and that was on PS2. I am ready for days of no load screens. When I played HZD fast travel took over a minute to load and that's one of my favorites games of all time

I don't even know if you can call these remaster because so little effort went into the last one and I'm sure even less would go into this one. Bethesda and I I are the laziest publishers when it comes to remasters

Honestly speaking if all 3 of those games you listed launch in 2022 IMO GOW will be the front runner for most GOTY awards. Because there was clear room for major improvements from last GOW game(and that's saying something because last GOW game was almost perfect)
