On Xbox you get the game on GP day one while on playstation it's $70 and will sell really well. So their service will do great and they will earn so much more with sales that they can reinvest into the studios

Sure engine is everything I guess. Bethesda has used the same engine for decades and valve used source for a long time. These engines evolve overtime. And BF1 looked amazing so If this game looks that good I guess they are doing something right

These publishers are simply stupid. Square Enix made tomb raider exclusive for $10 million than complained that the game didn't do it well
If your game is projected to sell 1 million on Xbox and 2 on PS5 and either Sony or Ms approach for exclusive deal than that console maker has to cover for lost sales(dollar for dollar)
This is the reality of gamepass is most who have it will play the game without buying it digitally. There are some who will like the game and want to support the developers. GP is for 1st party games right now Ms are paying 3rd party to have their games on GP because their own production studios aren't up and running and producing quality titles every 3-6 month

For me personally this series has ended I have never played nor will I ever play The last of Us part 2. First game is and will always be a masterpiece and for me that ending ended the series perfectly.
As far as MP is concern I think that boat has sailed for most people. Unless they are making this a standalone purchase I think most people have moved on not sure what kind of traction this will get

This is MS's biggest IP and this is what 6+ years of development with almost unlimited resources get you. 343I have been complete and utter failures. MS hired the biggest names but by putting them all in 343I it seems there are too many chefs in the kitchen. Truly sad what Bungie built and this new studio has yet to even match past halo games when it comes to quality and content
