What $30 to play PS4 games?
New console new games. Yes I would like to play some from my backlog when we are going through the usual summer dry spell. But that's all Xbox has had a dry spell from last 2 years of Xbox 360 till now. At that time it was said Ms is preparing for next generation that's why they couldn't support Xbox 360 till the end when Sony release GT6 and TLOU on ps3. And they did the same with TLOU2 and Ghost in ps5...
Will pick up the ps5 version as someone who hasn't played it yet. Hopefully all the content is in disks and no download vouchers

I think Sony are waiting to announce this and ark system works at their PlayStation event later this month

Thank you for your concern but with hundreds of indie developers some are bound to be unhappy with few decisions. Outselling your competition and having huge chunk of the market share means they must be doing a lot of things right

Whether we like COD or not is one thing but it's a franchise that sells. and someone who may want to buy this COD may end up signing for plus and getting this with the subscription
Sure stop with the best selling gaming franchise in the history of video games. I don't like COD(I have many just for single player and even than I haven't played that many) but you can't underestimate the value of this franchise
COD launches every year in November so the franchise gets anywhere from 6-8 weeks on the market before the year ends and becomes the best selling game of that year
I don't know they just got out from under EA, they can co-publish the game or sign a partnership agreement with the console maker. I don't see them selling themselves right away at least
Just wait man we will get one. And when we do we will get a much better experience because system keeps getting updates and more games will be available to play
Proper RPG's like old bioware Sony should sign his studio they need some RPG studios
Just buy them and expand the studio to where they could work on 2 remakes at a time. And just give them a list of classic catalog of games and leave the choice up to them to decide which they should remake first. Could you imagine in 10 years they could have three to four separate teams doing remakes of order games that could be amazing

I think you are right when it comes to few big IP's fan demanding any announcements could become tedious. But now a days too many developers/publishers do it. We literally had obsidian make fun of the fact they have absolutely nothing already for the sequel of outer worlds yet we got an announcement anyway

I would happily pay $70 if the PS5 version comes with the rumored expansion. So you get a fully optimized game with expansion for one price
I don't think we can call games that are coming from last generation to current with updates and more content remakes. They are more of re-releases. Basically consider them complete edition/GOTY edition. Anytime publishers launched complete or GOTY editions they were mostly MSRP

While I agree and understand your concerns just keep in mind Remedy is a lot bigger than people think. They have 4 separate teams working on different projects. If I am not wrong currently they are doing a Xbox and playstation exclusives while doing their 3rd party thing

They are making plenty of money from pachinko machines so there could be another publisher
