Actually, the article was just a way for them to say "hey guys, now we can show 60fps video! here's the proof below!", as anyone can see for "Thanks to this brand new site, we can compare 30 fps gameplay side-by-side with 60 fps gameplay".
I think it's funny how people seem to be offended.
"an unbalanced battle system"? "troublesome battle system"???
It is the best battle system in any Final Fantasy. And being able to change characters inside the battles was fantastic.
I played most of Bioware games, and the only one I truly liked was DA:O. Even Sonic Chronicles I thought was bad, and I love Sonic. Because of that, in my opinion DA:O was an exception to the rule, and I don't expect Bioware to make a game as good as that one ever again.
It started wrong with "DLC is great for gamers". Since when?
The things he complained about XIII are the same things I complained about XII. It just wasn't Final Fantasy anymore. In fact, since XI Final Fantasy isn't Final Fantasy anymore. I played I~XIV (and IV The After Years and X-2), but I don't plan to buy XIII-3, and I'll only buy XV if I buy a PS4 for another reason and I decide to give XV a try.
I buy a new PC every 4 or 5 years, so I've been waiting for GTX 880 to replace my old GTX 285, but it's been taking so long... I really hoped they would released it before October, so I would buy it during my vacation in USA.
I love "not in your face" design for clothes. I mean, I also love t-shirts with pictures of characters and all (I'm using one right now with Kyo and Iori from The King of Fighters) but I really like when I find t-shirts with more subtle references.
I don't think every t-shirt needs to scream "I play this game!", the ones that say "hey, if you play this game you'll understand the reference" are also great.
I would defi...
Do they ask if we want the effing always online thing to disappear?
That is a good number of games.
The fact that I don't want to play any of them actually worries me a bit. I consider myself a fan of JRPGs, but for some reason none of them got me excited. I don't like tactical RPGs, or Demon Gaze-like gameplay, or child-like (but with big breasts) characters like in Hyperdimension Neptunia.
I got a little excited for MIND=0 when I heard it would be like Persona, but the gameplay videos I watched showed that it is mor...
"The amount of JRPGs for the Vita - they´ve been coming and coming."
The only good ones I played on Vita was Persona 4 and Final Fantasy X. Great games, but they're still PS2 games. What are the other JRPGs?
Unless you're talking about those Monster Hunter wannabes like Soul Sacrifice and Ragnarok Odyssey...
I hope H1Z1 is hard for the right reasons, not like Dark Souls that is hard for things like bad colision detection, "cheating" enemies whose attacks go through walls but ours don't, and things like that.
I have Zombi U, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World, Just Dance 2014, Nintendo Land, NES Remix, Game & Wario, New Super Mario Bros U, Super Mario 3D World. A little more than 2 games.
I always hated point and click games, but I decided to try Back to The Future: The Game because it was a sequel to the movies. I loved it. After that I tried Walking Dead. Loved it, too. Now I'm playing The Wolf Among Us and it's really great.
I also never played visual novels and I hated puzzle games. I played Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward ony because it was "free" on PS+. Now it's probably my favorite game on Vita and it made me buy its preque...
I simply can't stop playing Disney Magical World since I bought it. In my opinion it does many things so much better than Animal Crossing. The article lists the same things that make me think that.
I only bought it because I'm going to Disney this year and I wanted to use it to "warm up" with the characters and whatnot. I really wasn't expecting to find such a great game.
I wish Animal Crossing let us meet Nintendo characters, had a grea...
Well, I can count with one hand the Wii U games I'm waiting for (Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Bayonetta, X, Sonic Boom). But I don't need any hands to count the PS4 and Xbox One games I'm waiting for, since it's zero. So for now I'll keep my Wii U.
I was going to wait for them to release all episodes, but I couldn't resist and bought it on Steam because it was discounted.
Now that I played the 3 episodes, I have the problem I expected to have. I liked it so much that I'll suffer waiting for the next episodes... The same situation I'm dealing with The Walking Dead.
I've had it for almost two years and I'm still waiting for the great games. At least on the same level of the ones that made me buy a PSP, like the great RPGs, Dissidia and whatnot.
Too bad that I already have all of them.
@darkride66
It sure is fun and appropriate for the whole family, but I think it has too many 3D platforming segments to be considered an "old school 2D platforming" game. This is one of the things that make me say that it's like a completely different game.
I think I fall in "The Snob" category. I have a very selective taste in games, so it's not uncommon for people to tell me "are you sure you like games?" when I say that I don't like popular games like Kingdom Hearts or Uncharted.
