I never liked BioWare games, with Dragon Age Origins being the sole exception. So can I complain that they destroyed their only great (in my opinion) franchise with Dragon Age 2?

Since it was announced, I didn't think the two franchises worked together. And when I played it, I saw that I was right.

I wish I liked this game, but I played it for a few hours and thought it was very boring. I guess I'm the "I need objectives" type of gamer (for example, I love Rune Factory, but get tired of Harvest Moon pretty quickly).

And getting to play online with friends was a headache to make it work.

To the people that played previous FF games before playing VII, Aeris death wasn't really mind-blowing. I was more shocked with Galuf's death in V because I used him during battles (not that I had any choice), and Aeris was almost useless.

The difference is that Dreamcast had a good number of fantastic games.

We don't need more "HD remakes". We need true remakes. Imagine Final Fantasy 6 in today's graphics...

@egidem
That's because newest GPUs are aiming for 4K.

I envy those who can play games, watch movies, or even read inside cars. Just by looking at my cell phone or trying to read anything for 10 seconds, I start to feel like I'll throw up.

"especially Squalls transformation from beginning to end"

I think you meant "from the end of disc 3 to end".

To be fair, I finished VIII but never could endure VII until the end. I think that if they removed Squall, Zell, Selphie, the "plot twist", the long GF animations, and the whole "enemies level up as you do", I could have really liked VIII.

For me it's PC + Wii U. At least until Quantic Dream releases its next game.

Considering that this number is the sum of sales of eight games, for me it's a little underwhelming. The way SEGA promotes Hatsune Miku's games in Japan (I even bought the one for Vita when I went there because of the heavy marketing - and I don't even like Hatsune Miku) I thought they were more popular.

@whathappened
Not the newest ones, but I was able to play my PS2 Final Fantasy XII disc, and FFX, and even a Bust a Move 2 (Bust a Groove 2 in USA) PSOne disc I bought in my last trip to Japan by using emulators and in high resolution. All of them are exclusive to Sony consoles.

@Darkstares
I was talking about guitarded77 comment and link that said:
"PlayStation Network working with 110 million users"
So I said that these 110 million users mean nothing because many people have more than one account.

I "love" how people here at N4G don't understand anything if we don't explain bit by bit, or sarcasm if we don't put /s in the end, or love to say "it's YOUR opinion". The latter two di...

Everybody have more than one account in PSN. I have three. So these numbers aren't really meaningful.

I knew somebody would say the exact thing you said. Somebody always does. And I always give the same reasons: I like the crafting system, the job system, the storyline, the battle system, the F.A.T.E. system, among other things. But not playing as a party with random people. WoW had this option, but I could reach maximum level and unlock all gameplay options playing by myself and doing BGs ands WGs. FFXIV locks tons of content, including progressing in the storyline, until I do dungeons with ...

Pity. I like many things in the game, but I don't want to endure mandatory dungeons with random people (since I don't have any friends who play this game). I was hoping they changed it so I could come back to this game, but it seems like I can forget about it.

Does it still have those three mandatory dungeons when you're around level... 15~20, I guess?

About Shadow of the Colossus, I hope they're talking about the HD version. If they're talking about the PS2 version, I never saw another game with such bad framerate in my life. Before I played it, people talked about how beautiful the game was. When I played it, all I could see was the jerky framerate.

As an old Sonic fan, I knew almost all of this. Still a good read, though.

@gamer1138
"I would rather have a game with the most stunning graphics that are almost life like, at a lower resolution than downgraded gfx to hit 1080p"

So let's ask developers to make games in 480p. The graphics would be even more "almost life like" because of the power left from calculating and drawing less pixels.
