I love Nintendo and I don't really like Sony, but one thing is true: if my PS3 or my Vita suddenly break or get stolen, I can download all my digital games on a new system without any hassle. I can't do that if the same happened to my Wii U or 3DS. What's worse, ALL of my Wii U games and more than 75% of my 3DS games are digital.
For me it's enough to consider them far behind.
Actually, in the beginning of the game there are one or two NPC at Balamb Garden who mention briefly that GFs can cause amnesia. But it's said as a rumor, and the second one even says something in the lines of "don't believe people who say GFs cause amnesia". It's only stupid that so few people talk about it, and it's treated like a rumor, when nobody can remember their freaking childhoods.

My problem with Vita is that there isn't a single game I'm expecting for it. The last game I played on it was FFX HD.

Does the affinity chart show which NPCs give quests? No. You still had to walk around each town searching for quest giver NPCs. And new quests become available as your affinity with each town raises, so NPCs that didn't give quests before can suddenly start giving quests. Knowing what time an NPC is active is only useful if you already have a quest that asks you to find an NPC, but not for finding quest givers.

Of course I did. What I said I meant already using the option to choose the time. But if you didn't follow a guide (I really don't like playing a game while following a guide), there was no way you could know when and where NPC that gave quests would be. So what I usually did was set the time to midnight, then walk around town looking for quest givers. Then I set the time to 10:00, and walked around town again. Then I set the time to 18:00 and walked around town once more. I think tho...
I hope they got rid of the whole "NPC just appears at certain hours" that the first Xenoblade had. I loved Xenoblade, but having to go around each city many times at different hours to find quest giver NPCs was a chore.
The Wii U version is based on the 360 version, it runs at 60fps, and has extra costumes. It certainly is the superior version.
Silly developers... People ask for different experiences, but everybody knows they just want to shoot at stuff.

That's why I always focus on PC+Nintendo console, and after some time I look at the current PlayStation to see if it has any games that make it worth to own the console (for now it has no games that interest me).

I cry easily when playing video games and watching movies. I still cry when I watch FFX ending! But I didn't shed a single tear in Lightning Returns. Or in any FFXIII game, actually.
Although I am so sad for what the Final Fantasy series has become that I do almost cry.
A great price for a great game. I bought both the 3DS version and the HD version for PC at full price and they are worth it.
