I played all of the games in the list, but only 3 were worthy of being finished: Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and Bravely Default. The rest of them were either not that good, or not fun or interesting enough, and I didn't bother to finish them. Specially Super Mario RPG, characters like Mallow and Geno killed the game for me - I still don't understand why so many people beg for Geno to be in Smash Bros.
Yay for 3D Vision!
2 was the best because the plot actually moved forward. After I understood that the story will never see an end and they will keep making sequel, after sequel, after sequel, I stopped playing it. I could try to forget about the plot and enjoy the gameplay, but I don't think the gameplay got any better.

"Nintendo signed a deal with Sony to produce a CD-ROM add-on for the SNES"
"Under their agreement, Sony would develop and retain control over the SNES-CD disc format, effectively ceding a large amount of control over software licensing to Sony...
It's funny how he doesn't say why the deal with Nintendo didn't go forward. It was because it would be Sony who would have control over what would be released for the add-on among other things. It was Sony who was trying to backstab Nintendo. The only error Nintendo made was not paying attention to this specific part of the contract before deciding to start the project.
Interesting. Next step: console games letting us choose graphics options so we can improve framerate and/or resolution.
It depends on what you mean by "these kinds". RPGs?
I respect CD Projekt RED for the things they do. But for some reason I couldn't like neither Witcher 1 nor 2. Maybe I'll buy Witcher 3 when it gets discounted. Either way, I still didn't even start Dragon Age Inquisition.
Stopped reading at "STAR OCEAN: TILL THE END OF TIME". It was the most unbalanced RPG I ever played (hard enemies could give you 0 exp - yes, zero - if you didn't have the exp multiplyer bonus activated, what was kind of hard to get and easy to lose). And don't get me started on the plot twist.
I think that the (good) ending in this game is the only ending in the series that felt truly satisfying.

RE5 transformed one of the most iconic and misterious villains in all video games into a boring generic megalomaniac villain.
Only Story of Seasons for me.
The sad thing for me is that considering the exclusives, only a couple of them I really liked to play (even Muramasa, which I really wanted to play on Wii, ended up being disappointing). And the multiplatform ones are either not that fun for my taste, or they're made to be played on a big screen (like the Telltale games, Killzone, Uncharted...).
To be fair, the games on this list that I actually like are incredible (like Persona 4 Golden and Zero Escape)
I wish game companies stopped making remasters to go back at doing remakes.
I tried playing it some years ago, but it was too silly for my taste. I ended up getting it on the final Club Nintendo offering, so I'll try to play it again someday.
I'd rather have a new Paper Mario (that went back to its RPG roots), but since The Thousand-Year Door is the best one in the series, I wouldn't complain if they released it on 3DS.
I would say that it's just RE Zero HD Remaster.
But Sonic was indeed too fast. In Unleashed he even had a drift button! In the 16-bit games he was generally kind of slow, and only got fast in a few parts of the stages (and we could still figure it out what was happening on screen). During the Adventure series he started running too fast and all the time, and it got worse in the following games. He needed to slow down a bit.
Unfortunately, they handled the lower speed in a bad way. A button to make Sonic run on Lost World w...
You do know that Darkside Chronicles was a retelling of RE2 (and Code Veronica), right? So this outfit, even in Darkside Chronicles, is based on the one she wore in RE2.
Or would you consider this as "her RE2 outfit" only if it had the same 10 polygons and awful super low resolution textures of the PSOne version?
Really? Then give us the final Zero Escape game!! After 999 and Virtue's Last Reward, it's cruel to leave us without the end of the series.
