I don't know why people keep bringing up Megaman Legends 3. The two first games were bad, got bad reviews, sold poorly, and somehow people act like a third game in the series would save Megaman.
I played it (because of PS PLUS) and it had nothing to do with Monster Hunter. I always wished for an RPG with Monster Hunter's battle system, and people told me Dragon's Dogma was exactly that, but it really isn't.
"Too many reagents and inventory items, and no way of knowing how important some of them are"
This is one of the main complaints I had about the first two games. I'm sad to see that it only got worse in this game.
They are. And limited inventory space, too. But you can drop things on the ground whenever you want, so you don't need to find an item box to free space on inventory. The bad side is that you have to return to where you dropped the item if you want it back, since it doesn't have connected item boxes like in RE 1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica.
Of all the old Resident Evil games, this one I played the least, so I'm not really excited. Even back then it was clear that Resident Evil with coop (even if the other character was controlled by AI) just doesn't work.
I liked Xenoblade, but there were too many side quests, and too few gave good rewards. I know I can choose to just not do them, but I still want to do the ones that are worth doing or that have interesting stories, the problem is knowing which ones are of this kind and which ones are trash. I hope they changed it in Xenoblade X.
Imagine how beautiful it would be if they made a true remake instead of a simple "HD Remaster".

Can't believe people still need to see something like "/s" to understand when a comment is a joke.
I liked Power Stone on Dreamcast when I played it years (decades?) ago, but I played it on PSP a couple of years ago and I didn't like it much. The same happened with Sonic Adventure and Jet Set Radio (that I played recently on PC). That's why I'm afraid that they will someday release Shenmue HD and I'll find out that it's not as good as I remember.
I played many "Tales Of" games, but the only one I liked enough to finish was Symphonia (and its sequel), so in my opinion it's worth playing, and it's the best in the series.
I bought it on Steam, it's really well done, it's kind of fun, but I didn't think that street racing and Mario Kart-y items worked well together, even though it was a good idea in theory (enough for me to buy the game).
I think that it they removed the items, I would've liked it more. But then it would lose the thing that set it apart from the competition, so I probably wouldn't have bought it. Tough call..
The game is looking good. But so did the first two games, and I didn't like any of them. So I'll wait for a big price drop before I decide to buy it.
Yes. SEGA Joypolis in Japan is really fun, and really looks like an indoor theme park (the bad side is that the lines are also comparable to the ones found in theme parks). SEGA Republic in Dubai is more like an arcade center than a theme park.
Anyway, I hope Nintendo's theme park will be bigger than both.

"You just said pc is as simple as INSTALLING getting updates and playing
But on a console installing updating and playing is a hassle?"
Yes. I have 283 games in my Steam library, and do you know how many times I had to redownload a game because the install file was corrupted? Only once.
Now, do you know how many times I had to redownload a game on PS3 and Wii U? More times than I can count. Search for "E...
When Nintendo released the original Wii with SD graphics people laughed saying that Nintendo wasn't prepared for the future, that HD and Full HD TVs would become more and more popular. Now that 4K is rising, because consoles can't play games in 4K, it's suddenly "who needs high resolution? It's all about the games!"...
I can't say that I like every game XSEED publishes, but I must say that even the ones I did not like (eg.: I really tried to like Ys, but I just can't), I didn't have any complaints about the translation.
And I really hope we get Rune Factory 5 some day. RF4 is one of the best and most addictive games I ever played.
I just read that it works perfectly with 3D Vision. I never liked GTA, but I might get it during a sale (at least 33% off) to play it in 3D.
@CaptainPunch
I agree with you. People who defend Vita say that there are many RPGs being released for it, but let's be real, most of them feel generic or they're just not that great. In fact, the only truly great RPGs I played on it were Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy X, and the sad part is that they're just ports of PS2 games.
Twilight Princess is the best for me for the simple reason that it's the only Zelda game that was good enough for me to actually finish it.
Capcom is the master of misunderstanding consumers.
When Resident Evil 4 sold well, instead of realizing it happened because of its mix of horror and action, Capcom said "so action sells!" and started making Resident Evil with tons of action.
When Resident Evil 4 sold well on Wii, instead of realizing it happened because Wii gamers wanted more hardcore RE games, Capcom decided to make light gun games.
Now when Resident Evil Remake s...
