How much time do you actually spend on "upgrading and maintaining" a PC? My PC is more than 5 years old, the only upgrade I made was the graphics card in the end of last year (to be able to play in 3D with high settings, or else I could've kept my old GPU for even longer).

I'd rather pay 2240 bottle caps than the absurd price Bethesda is charging in pretty much any country that isn't USA.

He's probably saying that the same way monkeys evolved to humans and we're destroying the planet, Juju, created in Japan, is a metaphor to how japanese gamers evolved but are destroying the game universe they were supposed to protect!

That's the same reason why we like when the console we choose sells more than the competition: higher sales attracts game companies and this means more and better games for that console. Now that japanese gamers stopped buying console games, japanese game companies are shifting production in a way that doesn't please the majority of us. So of course we want them to play more on consoles for selfish reasons, we want more games for the platforms we like. It's not a...

From the Kickstarter page:

Is this game affiliated with SEGA?
SEGA has officially given us the rights to use the "Shenmue 3" license.

@Septic
"Seems really odd for a mega title like Shenmue to be subject to Kickstarter for development."

Considering how much money SEGA lost because of Shenmue, it's really not surprising at all.

I also like to use analogies, but the truth is: people don't understand analogies and will always say "it isn't the EXACT same thing, so you're wrong".

People aren't very bright, so you will end up having to argue not only about the topic in question, but also why the analogy you gave fits the topic. God only knows how many times the same happened to me here on N4G.

By the way, I agree with your analogy.

Actually, english VA in DBZ is even worse than the japanese one. I almost never choose japanese voices in games, since I like to understand what I'm hearing, and since english is not my native language I'm not as sensitive to bad VA. But DBZ english VA is so bad that the first thing I do when playing a new DBZ game is go to the options screen and change the voices to japanese.

Although I prefer Nintendo's video presentation over the live version that other companies do (I really hate those awkward pauses that every live presentation has), the lack of big surprises hurt it.

Also, I think Nintendo should put less "developer stories" in the video. Although they're interesting, especially the one where they talked about how they made the first Super Mario, it isn't what E3 viewers want to see.

And Square's con...

I see people still can't differentiate remasters from remakes. Resident Evil was a remake, not a remaster, and that's why it was so great.

To be fair, they didn't really talk about Skylanders per se, but the amiibos that will be released for the game.

Did Nintendo show any third-party games? I've been thinking about it... Sony's show was good for me, but it was mainly because of two third-party games that are not even exclusive (FFVII and Shenmue). Other games, like Kingdom Hearts III (which I don't care about but a lot of people like) and No Man's Sky also fall in this category.

I really liked the part where they talked a little about the process of making the first Super Mario, and some of the game design elements that everybody who wants to make games should know. I just don't think it belonged to an E3 presentation, where people just want to see bombastic announcements.

And people are criticizing the puppets, but I really liked them.

Capcom owns the rights to Devil May Cry. Ninja Theory developed the latest game in the series.

Square owns Final Fantasy. Koei Tecmo is developing the new Final Fantasy Dissidia.

Konami owns Metal Gear. PlatinumGames developed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

SEGA owns Sonic. Big Red Button developed the latest game in the series.

I can give you plenty of other examples, but I think you get my point. There are many cases when ...

I'm an RPG fan and even I can't see any reason to play on my Vita. Most (almost all?) of the "hundreds" (bad use of the word "literally", by the way) of RPGs that are being released on Vita aren't really good.

I hope it works well with 3D Vision on PC. 2.5D platform games always look great in 3D, even Rayman Origins (that's 2D but its engine is in 3D, so everything is in layers in different depths and all).
