Forza Motorsports 5, Forza Horizon 2, and Killer Instinct already use the cloud for AI models.
I don't know why people are focusing on Crackdown 3. The only difference is that the cloud is being used for things you can see visually.
In Forza Motorsports 5, Forza Horizon 2, and Killer Instinct the cloud is being used to model your opponents which completely changes gameplay in those games.
The cloud has been used since launch. drivatars ...
Then, why don't people buy their games? problem solved.
Forza Motorsports 6, Halo 5, Fable Legends, Recore, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, Quantum Break, and Scalebound.
Their focus is just fine. New first party games!
To me, slims are a re-gouging of customers because most slim buyers are existing x1 gamers.
I think they should focus on new games and new IP. We are going into the third holiday of these new consoles.
I have been a halo fan for years. Often play split screen with buddies. Not having it is disappointing.
These are two completely different driving games.
Never should they be compared.
Forza is a real driving simulator aiming for real world accuracy of the full driving experience.
DriveClub is an arcade racer that is aiming to be a game first and to cut corners in things like car tuning, handling, and other things.
They are both great games (although DriveClub had problems at launch). But, they should never be compared as they...
To be fair, they did not call god of war iii or uncharted re-masters.
It is more fans assuming these are re-masters.
Microsoft is really doing BC right. They are integrating it with new game sales, games with gold, and now working with EA Access.
@Insomnia_84
This is no different then car manufacturers that sell "official" car parts to consumers.
Some people want the "official" stuff because it is tested more thoroughly and supported by the manufacturer as configured.
Other people know they can get the same thing cheaper and are willing to pay less knowing it hasn't been tested as much in this configuration and is not supported by the manufacturer.

To me Gears is a re-master. I do not consider Halo MCC (outside of Halo 2), Uncharted Collection, God of War III, nor Sleeping Dogs remasters. To me, they were game engine improvements without touching the content assets from the original.
Gamers have become complacent to accept the other titles mentioned as re-masters. It is unfortunate really.
No
Gears of War Ultimate - A Truly re-mastered game...
True graphical improvement!
Plus multi-player and the BC versions of all four gears games as a bonus.
And the game isn't even a full priced game!
Value everywhere here!
DriveClub is not a racing sim. It is an arcade racer.
You cannot compare these games.
DriveClub has next to zero car customization. Forza Motorsports allows you to customize pretty much everything. And the customization effects how the cars drive and handle.
These are two completely different class games.
MS First Party from end of 2016 going back to September last year since DriveClub was:

Yep. Junk confirmed.
It is Sony investing in third party partnerships rather than first party games.
Sony fanboys used to slag MS for doing this, now Sony is doing it. Very few new first part franchises, lots of sequels and third party partnerships now.
So how do you justify Sony's blatant shot video on how to share disc games on the PS4?
I guess that's what you do when you just want to be a jerk.
You win the award for best comment in this thread!
Furthermore business is conducted differently in the USA than Japan. One of the reasons Sony and Nintendo own so many studios is that is how Japanese businesses generally do business.
In the USA contracting is much more the norm.
Either model has pros and cons.
But, you are correct, it is IP ownership that actually counts. You own the IP you can choose its direction.
Halo Wars is a perfect example. They don't have ...
That is interesting. I see Destiny as a "labyrinth" game. It is a good game. You cannot argue with the mechanics and quality of the environments, etc. But, just like a labyrinth you seem to wander it forever and never really get out.
It is massively repetitive, the loot drops can be unfair, and all they seem to want you to do is keep playing the same game, over and over again. It is like a book that keeps adding pages as you read it. You keep going on hoping y...
