The idea of playing a AAA space dogfighter gives my goosebumps goosebumps.
Well, my attention span just got a lot longer. Thanks for the reply.
I'm wondering if this title will run on a TV without the VR headset.
They should have worked off of the ATB system from X-2. That was the last proper evolution of ATB. They could have evolved it further.
I wish they would make another NG with the Zelda-like open world like the first 3D one.
Ah man, Life Force was my jam back in the day.
I really dug this and I'm not a fan of fps games at all. Rage is the only other fps in recent memory that I really liked.
The only time I ever watch lets plays is when I'm trying to figure out if I want to buy a game or not. Most recently, lets plays have led me to buy Alice/Madness, Dark Cloud 2, Manhunt, & Deadly Premonition.
That controller looks uncomfortable as hell.
The biggest problem here isn't so much used games. Its the fact that modern games, especially narrative based SP games like UC, AC etc., lack hardcore replayability. Unless you really loved a games story and want to play it over and over, there just isn't any real reason to hold on to the game. Publishers and developers are directly responsible for the massive stock of heavily discounted used games on the store shelves.
I think it all depends on how much you love the mechanics in a particular game. If the mechanics have your heart then you need that super hard mode. For me its the PS1 Tenchu games, Ace Combat, Ninja Gaiden, and the PS1/PS2 Gran Turismo games.
I guarantee that RX-7s will be in Gran Turismo 7.
The old Gran Turismo license tests were awesome. I used to spend a week or two just golding them all every time a new one came out. It was the perfect training mode. Also love the event time trials on GT6. Its my favorite thing to do in that game. You know you love a game when you want to face it at its most punishing.
Ace mode on Ace Combat is another good example. Knowing you're always one hit away from going down in flames is a great way of keeping the player tuned in...
The Last Hope was the one I tried to play and I was wondering what the big deal was. Then I picked up Lymle and I just couldn't deal with the game anymore after that.
I do not understand what I am seeing.
This is why I stopped collecting SW black series figures. This stuff is just a luxury and not worth what amounts to almost 3 quarters of my rent.
Now THATS comedy.
Can't even get the slideshow to run past the first 3 pics.
@kalkano
Oh... well, that sucks. Glad I get to dive into this one VC game, unaltered. JP used to have really good action games like Ace Combat, Armored Core, etc but they stopped making them and started turning all their good non-action games into action games. Makes me wanna slap my own face off.
I'd mention the story characters that weren't in the roster but damn, talk about screaming into an echo chamber.
