I finally had the chance to play this game at my local game store, and I do admit it's not bad looking, but far from the CGI target render. From what I hear, the system that has all the slow downs is the PS3. This comparison of the PS3 and X360 is just getting sad. Both systems are out now and as of today, the 360 is superior graphics and performance wise. Who knows in the future, but as of TODAY it's the 360. Anybody with half a brain can see this. But then again, you Sony fanboys don't have half a brain do you.
PS3 fanboys keep saying wait till next year. Why should anybody pay $600 (if they can find one) to buy a PS3 now then have to wait till next year to maybe get games that are as good as what's available on the 360 now? And with Sony and PS3 developers constantly over promising and under delivering and often lying, I wouldn't be too confident in getting anything close to what the 360 is offering. I think a lot of people were waiting for the other consoles to launch before making the purchase of a next gen system. Now that all three are out and they can see for themselves that the PS3 is just hype, the 360 sale will pick up.
They have a long history. I believe they were created in 1991. I remember they created a great FSP for the Mac called Marathon. Since then they've made several very good games including Myth and of course the Halo games. To compare this company with Bungie just shows you don't know what you're talking about.

Who said HD-DVD was a MS format? I think HD-DVD uses the VC-1 codecs, which is MS(?) and which Sony is using now because of the better picture quality, but I don't remember anyone saying HD-DVD is MS.MS is just supporting HD-DVD. And what point are you trying to make about HD-DVD being developed by a Japanese firm? Blu-Ray is also from a Japanese firm. Actually Sony didn't give us DVD, that was either Toshiba or Panasonic. Sony had another format (MMCD), but decided to jump on board with DVD when their format wasn't getting any support. If history is any predictor, Sony's in trouble. I can't think of one format Sony has developed that hasn't been a bust.
I agree with the author here, HD-DVD will become the next format. I don't think the extra storage BR offers will matter all that much as most reviews have stated, HD-DVD movies have as good or better in some cases picture quality. Although digital downloads will come, I think 15-20 GB is a bit too much for current connections.

The Cell was developed by IBM, Toshgiba and Sony and the RSX was produced by Nvedia. So for the most part, Sony also bought the technology. What MS did was have the knowledge and ability to work with others to put together a system that came out a year ago that is superior for gaming than the PS3. Give credit where credit is due.
Apple can barely get developers to port games to the Mac, how the heck are they going to convince them to develop for an unproven console. I doubt it'll happen, but if they do, they'll loose a lot of $$ because it'll be a flop.
As with most articles, the author is giving his opinions as to his experiences with the various systems, and I happen to agree with most of what he had to say. He simply states that as things stand, the PS3 isn't living up to the hype and that the X360's available library of games has more value for hardcore gamers. What is misleading about this article?
I don't think this guy is credible at all. His comment "The real beauty of the PS3 are the graphics and the controllers. I think almost all real gaming site have that have reviewed multiplatform games lower on the PS3 compared to the X360. This article is another example of lazy journalism.
