Ummm most games start development on a PC built with specs they are targeting and then migrated as hardware is prototyped. And building for 8 year old hardware certainly hurts the end result. Proprietary hardware is consoles key differentiator vs PC and they just gave that up.

The games I wanted to play I played long before they released on switch either on PC, wiiu u, Wii, or GameCube. Again just me personally, I realize others have different experiences.
