Candy Crush has over 3 billion downloads world wide. If you take the entire MS portfolio and continue to grow the brand at a global scale on all devices willing to add game pass and expand into other mobile providers and cloud services they can for sure get to the billions. It's not going to happen over night. But they can get there.
If Sony adds game pass they get all of the games. Simple as that.

The foundational campaign for Infinite was awesome. It would have been really great to get DLC a couple times a year to expand into different missions and biomes. It's too bad they could never get the post launch support right. But sometimes it does require letting go of some staff to rebuild.
