I played through and really enjoyed the story mode but now what? Playing online against obsessed gamers who play 24/7 isn't fun. I'm not going to spend hours just trying to learn moves so I can fight someone who obsesses about playing the game. The S.T.A.R. Lab isn't fun for me either, it's irritating and frustrating. DLC of more characters won't make me play the game again. DLC of more characters and more story to go with those characters would get me to play the game aga...
For me, neither because I don't care. While I think it's great to have variety in gameplay styles, I don't play these interactive movies some label as "games".
I'm very amazed at the select group of people who are going out of their way to bad-mouth and degrade Nintendo. It's as if a few hackneys are being paid by some money-doped, butt-hurt, investment analysts to influence the public that Nintendo is doomed and we should all stop supporting them. I'm really sick of it.

Should they? No. Can they? Yes. I think we've already seen the detriment of cross-media entertainment when it gets taken too far; Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Wonderbook, any Interactive movie, and coming up, Beyond: Two Souls. It's all fad and folly, gimmicked and greed driven... in other words, not good for actual gamers and the industry, long term.
I prefer gaming to remain gaming and not to be expanded into something it isn't...

I've played my Wii U more in the last few days than I have in months partly because it's just that more satisfying not having to wait for things to load ...plus all the VC games that just released.
