Well, LevelHead, we bought Fallout 3 thinking it would be at least loyal to the canon of the franchise it's named after. Maybe, you know, have some of the old weapons, hell, even use the same statistics.
Boy, were we surprised. What we got what a great game, hell, a FANTASTIC game, no matter how buggy.

I'm not going to disagree that X-COM was a good game with tons of replayability.
What pissed me off is his "Fuck battlefront" and calling it a "shitty game from lucasarts".
His attitude toward a very good game and its marvelous sequel is pretty disrespectful to Pandemic and LucasArts as the two games were huge marks of awesome for both companies.

What in God's name are you talking about? The only thing they took out (that may or may not have even been there) were any bodyguards that were at the Freeside entrance near Mick and Ralph's.
I THINK I remember seeing them on the Xbox, then I stopped playing the game until June of 2011 where they weren't there, so whether or not this is a fake memory or not, I can't be certain. Everything else has been kept in.
While I'm really wanting this, there's one thing that throws me off.
BioWare is developing this? Why? They're RPG developers that are starting to fail making RPGs, why are they suddenly making not only an RTS game, but a sequel to one of the most popular RTS games ever released in the C&C franchise?

Looking at it, I've noticed several things that piss me off.
1. Dismemberment, like you said, is non-existent. WHERE'S THE DAMN LIMBS FLYING OFF?!

When it comes to games, Bioware hit their stride with everything from Baldur's Gate to KOTOR and DA: O. Anything else has been weird and a total disappointment.
Personally? I know no one else will agree with me on this but the entire Serious Sam series is definitely a contender for best FPS game of all time (any one of them, that is).
If not Serious Sam, then BioShock.
