Ha, I built my own computer and got some pretty badass results.
Win7 64-bit Ultimate
AMD Radeon HD 6970
8 GB of RAM
AMD Phenom II 6-core 3.3 GHz
Oh, and a TB HDD... of which another would be useful.
My speakers are pretty old, though, as I haven't had the money to replace them... I've been spending too much on the damn computer.
Well, my eyes are perfect, but I'm proud of Blizzard for remembering even the color-blind gamers. Good on 'em.
I see what you did there...
But it's nice to know that the Lord likes games where you kill people. Makes God 50x cooler. XD
Holy crap, I could've canceled out of that?
Well, DAMN.
Regardless, I couldn't play the demo, so I'm hesitant to get the game without knowing how I'll like it. I guess I'll try what I did with Serious Sam 3, which is to pirate it and buy it if I like it. :/
Man, talk about DRM. I downloaded the demo, started it up and realized that I had to LOG IN TO MY DAMN GAME to play it. Seriously? Logging in to a single-player game? I realize that this isn't the developer's choice but rather EA's, but it's ridiculous nonetheless.
Oh, and it didn't work. Graphical problems made it unplayable. FANFRIGGINTASTIC.
@Hellsvacanvy
Just because someone thinks that it's overrated doesn't mean he can't play it at all. It just means that he thinks it's okay and nothing for being to be going crazy about.
WOW, talk about stupidity.
I actually depends on the kind of apocalypse. If it's by nukes, yes, the world would turn very brown and gray as radiation kills vegetation.
However, an apocalypse that's occurred by way way of zombies or lethal virus would likely keep the vegetation, which is exactly what we're seeing in TLoU.
My God, Bethesda (no, I'm not saying that Bethesda is my god of choice), you've been saying that the Creation Kit for Skyrim would be "ready soon" since December! So much for that release date of "January"!
Oh, this'll be great. Always thought the game was too short.
Too bad this wasn't included with the game in the original friggin' release, though. I find it kind of sad that there needs to be an edition of a game called the "Extended Edition". However, I must also praise them for creating such an addition when many companies with games that have short story-lines do NOT do this.
I can't figure out if I'm praising them or scolding ...
To be honest, these sound like they'd be related to DOOM 4 in some way or another. At minimum, these would be in trailers.
@ Zha1tan
It makes me lawl that we voted him into office for the first time.
Actually, no, it doesn't make me lawl. It makes me weep.
Man, I really would get this, but knowing how consolized RAGE was, I just don't feel like ever buying it. I feel betrayed, to be honest. iD, the developers that really jumpstarted PC gaming is now more for consoles.
Not even my best friend banging my ex (when she was still my girlfriend, obviously) was as big of a backstab as what iD did... *sigh*
The thing that really killed Uncharted 3 for me was that the gunplay just felt even worse than the original's. If they had just kept Uncharted 2's, I'd love the game, but that one thing got me killed well over 50 times on my playthrough. And, no, I never perfected it.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game and I'll love it just like I love every Uncharted game, but it's my least favorite. Man, it felt nice to say that. I kept thinking I was the only...
@ MrBeatdown
PSN going down was just a ton of traffic? Yeahhhh...
Hmm...
Ahh...
No. It wasn't.
It's interesting to see people say, "I don't think they'll succeed", yet they DDoSed all of the websites relating to the US Department of Justice, the Universal Music Group, the Motion Picture Association of America, Warner Brothers Music, the FBI, the US Copyright Office, the Recording Industry Association, and the HADOPI law... and they did it just yesterday when Megaupload came down two days ago.
And, somehow, people think that they won't succeed....
"You see that apple/cherry? You want it? Well, go get it! OHHHHH, BUT THE DAMN THING KILLED YOU"
There's I Wanna Be The Guy for me... I laughed and turned the game off, then continued on with my S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-ishness.
I should play IWBTG again someday...
Yes, though let's be happy that we had a day with fewer trolls and overall peace in the gaming news landscape of N4G.
Not that the trolls really had a choice, but let's not spoil the moment.
Is AdBlock on Chrome? Because YouTube is really starting to piss me off more and more.
The irony is that the company that's pissing me off has the browser I'm using. Damn you, Google, for making my web surfing faster! DAMN YOU. NOW GIVE ME MY TUBE OF YOU BACK.
Wow, you think this review is late enough? The game came out in the first half of last year...
And a two is always a stupid score for a game like this. People who give a mediocre game like this a 2 have clearly never play MorphX...
Oh, God... MorphX... *shudders*
Man, you have to understand from the viewpoint of a PC gamer, though. All of these console gamers seem to have an extremely dated view of PC gamers. They still think that "PC" means "sitting in front of the desk, clicking away". It's infuriating to see this sort of ignorance from many gamers, that's why we lash out.
For this, I think they are correct in defending the platform of choosing, especially when it is the way it is today. I do not support ...
