Actually, we are. We're not stuck with dated hardware or player limitations (24 players in BF3's huge maps, anyone?!).
Also... STEAM. Enjoy paying $60 for your games. We get out new ones around $30-$45 only weeks (or days, if somebody gets happy over there) after release.
Hope your wallet is happy losing weight!
"Textures are muddy when viewed up close."
-Well, I hope they aren't as bad as the ones in RAGE...
Dude, that's some really shitty information...
Crap, I didn't mean to make the pun.
0_0 I said "crap". FUUUUUUUUUU-
You know, for the amount of people who "hate" CoD and don't plan on "ever grabbing a CoD game again", a whole sitton of sales was going on here, leading me to believe that a bunch of people are just lying morons.
Here I was hoping that at least SOME impact would've been had on the sales, but no. Just bigger ones. *sigh*
Ryudo, the government really CAN'T. It's written in the Constitution that every American has the right to bear arms. Though the government can try, Americans love our guns to much to let them defy the Constitution.
And Ryudo, Britain apparently has a higher violent crime rate than South Africa and the U.S. Why? Because criminals can do what criminals do, that is, get ahold of guns, and other people can't. Need proof of your terrible crime rate?
Oh my God...
Is the 360 okay? I don't really like 360, but it's worth more than this guy.
Man, aside from character models, weapons models, and environments whilst you're flying through them in a souped-up Cuprino, everything looked half-assed. ESPECIALLY on PC, where I played it on (actually spent a whole week messing around until I got it working).
The game was a mess. It was supposed to be a contender for one of the best looking games ever made... and they killed that change BIG TIME.
GTA is now more about, "Oh, I came here with a disadvantage and a terrible past. I lose all that's dear to me and then I become awesome and someone who aims to be on America's Most Wanted" than fun and stealing cars.
Saints Row took the spirit of what GTA used to be and is howing us what could've been. I don't want crappy driving controls and boring minigames like billards, eating, watching lame cabaret shows, and bowling. I can do all that in real l...
I'm sorry, but did you say GTA was a "simulator" of real life?
Jesus, do you go around, blasting away at random civilians, fly across the highway driving the wrong way, get into intense cop shootouts daily, meet every mob boss in the city,go from rags to riches in a couple weeks, get shot 6000000000 times and don't die in your life?
You got one epic-ass life, mein freund. Is it part of the new human breed (see what I did there)?
Ah, almost this entire article is based on the stupid "Haven" show on Sy-Fy...
Grr... I wanted more Uncharted news.
"Deep Silver Says They “Utterly Failed” At Bringing Risen 1 to Consoles"
Wow, you think? But coming out and admitting their fault with the 360 port makes me respect them, despite however buggy Gothic 3 and Risen on PC were.
I'm still getting Risen 2.
Uh, sorry to say, but if that's what you think Battlefield is about, you might want to stop going into botmatches with 3 other bots...
64 vs 64 is How you play Battlefield.
With Call of Duty, it does that already.
"WHY! WON'T! YOU! DIE?!?!"
"Hope you rot, criminal scum."
Ah... as much as I hated those guards, I loved them more for their lines.
@ Yi-Long
Um, you know Conservatives and Christians are hated in the western media, right? Like, REALLY HATED.
Yeah... I'd just like to point that out a bit.
@ antz1104
Same here, Anthony.
Hated seeing that "!". Damn guards seeing me...
P.S.
It's your friendly neighborhood person that you know. :D
I'm curious.
What platform did YOU play DNF on?
Sorry to break this to ya, but...
GTA isn't realistic. It TRIED to be realistic and that's where it failed. So, now it's stuck in this world of crappily slow driving and moving because they wanted to be "realistic"...
Bottom line: REALISM DOESN'T FRIGGIN' WORK IN OPEN-WORLD GAMES. Especially ones where you're getting shot 15,000 times (which isn't realistic), yet are still alive. Rockstar needs to pick a style with GTA is...
@ Anarki
Sorry to break your heart, but it is almost as easy to pirate games on consoles (well, 360 from what I remember) as it is on PC.
While I've taken an anti-piracy stance within the last 2 years, I used to pirate games a lot. And doing it on my 360 wasn't hard. After you mod it (which is definitely the most complex part, but simple if you have the right guide), al you do is download the files, extract them all, then burn it.
Voila. So, t...
Bethesda, you ain't getting my money. I'm sick of everyone screwing over PC. Even iD! iD! The company that really kickstarted the machine into a real gaming machine.
Consoles just annoy me. "Let's appeal to a whole bunch of 13 year-old with overly vulgar language and a lack of respect for the ENGLISH language (or whatever language is spoken in their countries). Then, let's streamline the hell out of everything. We can't make 'complicated' game...
