Wait, when the hell did I lose a bubble?!
0_0 Well, that sucks.
@ Christian Hour
Well, that's pretty much the same thing I could be posting right now. Thank you. :D
I've also seen your track record regarding Naughty Dog (Does your "That TLoU trailer wasn't actually in-engine!" bit come to mind?) and nobody here likes what you have to say about Naughty Dog.
You are, no matter how unnceccessary it is to state, a huge fanboy troll. If I remember correctly, you care for neither console, which just makes you another dickheaded PC elitist.
Oh, and just to add, I have a VERY powerful computer that can play any...
If James was willing enough to bulk up a bit, I could easily see him being Drake. He's witty as an actual person, not just as a character, and he looks a little bit similar to Nate.
Again, he'd definitely have to get some muscle, though. He's not of a very athletic build.
Well, I'd have to agree and disagree with that statement.
I'd agree because it should be common knowledge that a decent bit of Drake's face is modeled after Nolan. Hell, Drake apparently even runs and walks like Nolan. There's also, of course, the fact that Nolan North plays Nathan Drake.
I'd disagree, or rather not disagree, but rather state how it's not likely by saying that Nolan's not the youngest guy either, at age 41. He'...
Yeah, but that's still pretty badass.
Though, Mario looks like he'd collapse with all that sprinting and jumping he has to do...
Because EVERY kid loved playing the... masterpieces of Laughing Joking Numbnuts back then.
Hell, is LJN even still alive? I'd laugh if it was.
@ PSPee
Look at your username...
Just get out of here you damn M$ fanboy troll.
Sold poorly? Let's think about this for a moment: Half-Life (PC) has sold well over 10 million copies to date on PC alone. This was from a developer who made their first game and was having trouble finding a publisher.
Counter-Strike around 6 or 7 million and it's just a damn mod that was made by simple fans of Half-Life.
iD made the FPS industry kick off and had the potential to have sales go at least half of that with the quality of that but they go...
I played the game on PC and what I saw (with a very able computer, able to play the game at Max, mind you) was a game with decent looking characters, pretty gun and vehicle models, terrible textures in everything else, and tons of texture pop-in and long loading times.
They screwed the PC version up BIG time.
Why do YOU have to be a dick? Duke Nukem disappointed you?
STOP HYPING EVERY DAMN GAME TO HELL AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. ALl I saw before DNF released this year was "Holyshitshitshitshit, it's DUKE FU**EN NUKEM, BIOTCH."
That annoys me. Let me take another example: Haze. Everyone says it's a shitty game. It's not, it's mediocre. But, oh damn, it wasn't a Halo killer! How dare it! It must be vile and evil like Satan himse...
Assassin's Creed is the best in the stealth genre? Are you insane?
For that, look to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory or Thief: The Dark Project.
Agreed. Though, to be fair to this one, it isn't the most annoying one. For THOSE, go read some of the YouTube-exclusive ones.
"Contact YT. This video has a dislike button by accident"
"blahblahblah is awesome! Thumbs up if you agree!"
"You say this tardo, I say another tardo that I personally think is better.
You say this tardo, I say ano- you get my point."
Though, if there...
THANK YOU! I can't help but get more annoyed at these jokes because they aren't even using the proper friggin' phrase.
Annoying bastards! Protip: LEARN THE DAMN PHRASE.
And, yes, it annoys the crap out of me.
They have factories for dog shit?!
I'd have to disagree. Being only a year old when Half-Life came out, I obviously didn't play it at release. But for most of these 14 years of my life, I'd started the game, got bored, then moved on to something I thought was cooler.
Sometime early last year, I decided I'd give it just ONE more go. For whatever reason, I had gotten into the groove of the game and it now stands as one of the best gaming experiences of my life. And this was 2010. It can still hol...
So, let's get this straight: You're saying that
1) N4G is still massively Sony. I'm more of a Sony fan, but I've started to notice more agrees for pro-Microsoft things around here recently.
2) Naughty Dog is a one-hit wonder? They've made 3 franchises in a row with 3 games in the main series, all scoring some of the highest marks in that console's library of games. How retarded are you??
3) Dead Rising 2 had a thin sto...
@ Scizz
Though, Mai'q has been known to provide not-so perfect information. He is Mai'q the Liar, after all.
I don't know about you, but I think throughout the series, Mai'q doesn't deserve that name. I mean, would he EVER lie to you? Oh, wait...
Mostly hobo-Sam from the original concept of Conviction.
Speaking of which, I'm still wanting to see a game the way Conviction was originally planned to be.
What Vegatea said, Endoran. They were bribed by the biggest publisher there is. And it's not like it isn't possible. Remember the GameSpot incident with Kane and Lynch?
There's no way that a string of reviewers can give a game that's so repetitious, so ugly, so restricting, so unoriginal, and so buggy/hackable such great scores. Better games get worse scores because they weren't bribed. That's the joke of today's journalism. Bribery.
I find the people who are against piracy to be terribly misinformed.
Statistically, pirates don't pirate because the game is free, they pirate (1) to make sure that the game isn't ass and (2)because they try to avoid DRM.
With reason number one, I recently torrented Croteam's excellent Serious Sam 3. After the DNF incident, I had to be cautious. I then played it and realized that it was pretty much the same as Serious Sam always was and bought it...
