Switch is too successful for a full revamp like they did from WiiU to Switch. It’ll just be a “Switch 2” that’s got a better screen and more power. Maybe they will do a brand new system the console after that.
So you just gonna disrespect the 1982 Popeye like that?
On a serious note, I grew up with Popeye and I gotta say, there isn’t much to utilize with this IP. He’s a sailor who eat spinach in order to punch a bigger sailor harder so he stops sexually harassing a woman lol
100%. I know it can still be played on modern consoles, but a nice new paint job and some new quality of life features added would be awesome.
That would be a day 1 purchase.
WB litteraly owns DC. So there’s not much chance any development studios outside of the company are getting their hands on any DC IP.
I’ve always thought the Sherlock games looked interesting but never jumped into them. This one’s looking pretty good. Think I’ll give this one a shot.
I know there’s a few other ones. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions on them?
That’s a good buy. If it wasn’t the complete edition I’d highly recommend grabbing both expansions. Hearts of stone is a fantastic new quest line. And blood and wine is the epitome of wha an expansion should be. Full new map with new storyline and dozens and dozens of side quests.
Lmao okay.
AC- Quick attack, heavy attack, special attack
(Yes perry and dodge are there but 99% of the time all you need to do it spam the main 3)
W3:WH- Quick attack, heavy attack, special attack, dodge, perry, using potions tactically before and during battles, signs, crossbow, different enemies requiring completely different tactics and patterns.
Witcher 3 isn’t the best combat system, but it’s way more in depth and thoughtful than t...
I played Witcher 3 on launch and it wasn’t broken. It had issues. But was very much playable all the way through.
CP2077 was BROKEN. In my first 10 or so hrs I had around 6 full crashes, a dozen freezes, a handful of game breaking bugs that required a reset to deal with, and dozens and dozens of immersion breaking bugs. (I was playing on PS5 where it apperantly “played well”)
Witcher 3 had optimization issues for sure, but it was very much playable.
Finally some news! I was actually about to do a full replay when they announced the next gen versions. I’ve been holding off until the PS5 update releases. I have a feeling it’ll be in December around the release of season 2 on Netflix but I’m hoping it’ll be sooner.
Resident evil: village
The medium
A plague tale: innocence
Little nightmares 2
Returnal
Mundaun
Doki doki liturature club plus
Dead by daylight
Saved you a click. I just came looking for suggestions but sadly left with none since I own half these games and several I wouldn’t call scary or terrifying.
@jivah
“Must be poor” lol
And you must be delusional if you think DLC would cost hundreds of millions to make. They aren’t creating a new game. Just re using assets and maybe 20mill max creating some new storyline stuff. Plus pretty much everyone who bought RDR2 and GTA5 would buy into the DLC packs. Plus create new interest in the next gen version. There’s not a chance in hell they wouldn’t make massive profit on any expansions released.
Yeah that is exactly why. But it still makes no sense to me. R* was known for putting out some of the most compelling expansions of the time with Undead Nightmare, the ballad of gay Tony and lost and damned.
It really seems like leaving money on the table so to speak. Like I don’t play the online for eith RDR or GTA. But I would 100% buy some single player DLC for both. And I’m sure a large part of the community is the same way. It’s not going to take away from the people who like th...
How did you get downvotes? Undead Nightmare and The Ballad of Gay Tony were both fantastic. I really liked The Lost and The Damned as well.
I liked Returnal better. The atmosphere and weird ass world is what did it for me. Gameplay was more intense to. Deathloop is alright but it just seemed way more generic to me. Way too similar to Dishonored just with some twists.
Both good dames though. But Returnal is a game I still think back on as being a “damn this is crazy” while playing game.
Neither are actual reviews. They’re reviews of preview sections they were able to play beforehand. They both state that in the articles.
I’m looking forward to the game but I’m just pointing it out.
I thought it was already confirmed to be an exclusive. At the very least it was heavily eluded to.
I’m mainly a PS player but if ES6 is exclusive, and I’m assuming it is, I’ll get an Xbox to play it. I don’t see why people bitch and complain about exclusives. Every console has always had them.
I disagree. I feel it was for the better. Having a partner or someone else who is off helping in the background loses some of the tension of feeling isolated and alone.
Yeah it’s not even in my top 5. I understand the need to have directional attacks in SS with the in game mechanics. But damn, the “button” controls are just sloppy. The joystick sword controls don’t work that well and they aren’t intuitive. And the camera being mapped to a button so you can’t use the sword at the same time is terrible. I find I’m fighting the controls far more than I am any enemy’s in the game.
They should have had the camera be free then you press the L button to pu...
Yeah same. But for people who plan to play almost exclusively in handheld I would think they’d rather save $150 and pick up the switch lite. I may be wrong. But this oled switch just seems like a pointless remodel. Docked players couldn’t care less. Owners who have one already don’t plan to upgrade. And heldheld players would more likely pick up a lite and save cash. So who is this really aimed at besides the small percentage of people who just want the newest shiniest version?
Really hope they patch out the frame rate issues. It’s playable but VERY distracting at most times.
