If you liked odyssey you’ll like this one. Everything has been tweaked for the better. Assassinations are back. The grinding is very minimal. It feels grindy at first but you get skill points pretty quick and it’s a large map. There’s always areas you’re leveled for.
The loot is much more refined. You pretty much just find what you like and keep upgrading those. So much better than getting something that’s better than what you found 5 minutes prior.

I’m actually really looking forward to this game. Always been a fan of the AC games. Even with the obvious flaws. And odyssey was right up my ally. More mythology games are always welcome.

That’s exactly what I hope. That scared the shit out of me. Haven’t put it in rest mode since that time. Luckily the thing boots up so fast it hasn’t been a huge issue.
But def like rest mode to be usable.

My pre order from Amazon hasn’t updated at all. When I spoke to a rep yesterday they didn’t even answer any of my questions.
I’m putting the blame on Sony. No way all these massive companies have the same issues. First the pre order fiasc, now the actual product delivery. Clearly Sony didn’t give proper numbers to distributors so they would know what they will get and when. ...

Ive been a fan of the AC game’s since the very first one. I loved Black Flag. And have enjoyed the new direction the games have taken since origins and LOVED Odyssey, even if it was a little long and bloated.
This is probably one of my most anticipated games right after Cyberpunk 2077. This is day one for me when my PS5 arrives. Glad to see most reviewers are enjoying this game. Even with its usual Ubisoft downsides.
I read after you bought an X. And that comes out a couple days earlier. So maybe mine will get updated on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Has anyone pre ordered through Amazon and gotten any updates? We’re days away and I still haven’t gotten any updates. Pending status just says “we will email you when available”. Whatever that means.

Yeah I got a pre order through Amazon when they went live and mine still just says “no delivery date available, we will update you when available”.
So I have no idea when I’ll be getting mine. I have the controller, headset and charge dock just sitting in the boxes waiting.
Supposedly Sony made the “3D Audio” so it works on any headset. So I theory it should work just fine with your gold headset or any other half decent aftermarket headset that is compatible.
Get used to $70 games. New AAA games have been $79.99 here in Canada for years.

Same boat. The logic makes no sense. I pre ordered(barely), and am being told it probably won’t come on launch day. But there’s consoles available to buy online on launch day? You’d think pre orders would be fulfilled first.
If not then what was the point of pre ordering?
So my pre order isn’t coming on launch day. You can’t go in and buy one on launch day. Is it even launching on the 12th or was that just false advertising to build up hype?
The chances of buying online for pickup is slim to none when bots can buy up every store before you even get to the ordering page.
This games STILL not fully released? One of the largest budgets for a game ever, and not much if anything spent on advertising. This is looking increasingly like a long hall con.
