10x more powerful.... unless the internet is off
Wow, your product must be awful if your desperate enough to try and con potential Wii U owners purchasers into buying it, especially since the Wii U does things like BC and offline play.
It's bad when even a political comedy show is making fun of your console...
I've been done with MS for a little while now and it's completely been because of RROD, why pay a company money to screw you later on down the line on a piece of hardware with a failure rate of almost half? I've already seen the kinds of things MS is willing to throw on the market and I have no reason to believe that's going to change. MS has shown themselves before as a company that will throw broken products on shelves and so far the One sounds broken before it even gets the...
The N has always (for the most part) been about giving their customers great value and even better experiences. They are the only console offering straightforward backwards compatibility, the only one that lets you keep your digital collection from their previous console and has provided some pretty good customer service along with it. This next gen is all about Ps4 and WiiU and it's all because these are the consoles offering customers choices in how, where and when you can play games.
This sounds promising, my main problem with digital purchases is that I can't sell them or loan them out. If this IS a trade/buy,sell,loan system then it could change digital distribution for alot of companies if Sony can make it successful.
"You need to come with me, sir," he said.P
Those are never good words to hear. Unless they're followed by "Your dog just gave birth to puppies that crap $20s!"
This is the funniest thing I've read today, article has a great sense of humor. As for pics of cabinets and laptops I say how dare you sir! Taking photos without the consent of kinect, without sharing with the NSA and no expressed permission of the photographed laptop is jus...
Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101 and X are what I'm looking most forward to but honestly everything I saw from them looks pretty enjoyable, the next year or so is looking good, but I would have liked to have seen some more unannounced games. I have a feeling we'll see more stuff through the directs over the next couple of months, it seems the N wants to leave E3 for showing off games and use directs for their announcements throughout the year.
The US needs something like this, consumer protections have severely dwindled in this country over the last 3 decades or so. I would prefer legislation on bigger problems but I would take what I can get and these kinds of protections seem reasonable enough.
Sorry, wrong place for comment :]
The first is one of the best games I've played this gen, vey excited for this sequel.
I have a feeling EA wanting to be hated less will simply lead to EA being less vocal about certain things. Anyone know what the plans are for their DRM policies on the One?
@Stan
Once the server is gone your games are gone and your left with a brick and some blu ray coasters. If your internet is shut off, brick and coaster. This digital future of all installed games is complimented by a hard drive that is nowhere near big enough for the amount of games most gamers buy. These 'features' limit what can be done with your games and where it can be done at. If I want to take my console over to a friends (or anywhere for that matter) to show off they b...
It's kind sad the most cheered thing today from ANY conference was announcing nothing is really going to change with the retail sector.
@Belking
Not denial, just the truth.
The price of Sleeping Dogs alone is $40, just ONE game pretty much pays for the whole year. Besides I don't do much MP so I wouldn't pay for online but I'll pay $60 for about 30 or so games in a year timespan.
Because more and more is getting put into controllers every gen.
It's not over yet, the N might still blow people away.... maybe....
+ members already make their money back with lots of monthly free games.
Hopefully this will play out better than 13 has. Very excited!
I agree the showing was only ok, I would like to have seen some more surprises, but I think we'll see more from future directs throughout the year. I see the N making announcements throughout the year and trying to keep people constantly excited about new content instead of showing it all at E3 and having very little to show off through the rest of the year.
