Spielburg has made some great movies and I'm a little sad I won't be watching the Halo show unless it's through means other than a One. I also agree with him about the movie industry, Hollywood is having problems making quality movies and it has shown over the last 6 years or so and budgets, much like gaming budgets, are bloated and tend not to make enough money back even if the movie's good.

I read this title as 'EA wants more places to make ass tons of cash'
Honestly there will be 2 main companies in competition and that's Sony and the N, Microsoft needs to go the way of Sega and Atari.

Anyone else think it's funny that not even MS is using Windows 8?

OR MS can fail like Sega and another company with better standards and more customer friendly ideas can come along and replace them. Just because a void is made doesn't mean it can't be filled.

Just like banks and Wall Street, too big to fail. Or is it?

Man, why weren't games like this when I was a kid! To believe I wasted all that time 'trying' when the games could have just done it for me...

If the only thing a company can show you is a trailer and footage running from a computer maybe they should just WAIT before chucking it out for people to see. Bioshock Infinite wasn't even able to include a decent amount of the features and gameplay touted in it's E3 reveal, Aliens:CM was, well, you know what it was when it released but that's not what was shown before its release, there's the Killzone 2 and Halo 2 trailers that are mentioned in the article and many, many mor...

Amazing, I've read the most accurate article ever written. These are the kinds of things that make me believe an industry crash could happen again.

Feels like the 90's again in a way, except instead of stupid expensive consoles (CD-I,3DO) with little or no support now it's smaller less expensive consoles with a bunch of cheap games. I bet they all end up the same as the those expensive consoles though, I haven't seen any company give a compelling argument as to why I need or want tablet games on my TV.

I would have liked to see a bigger list but honestly there's quite a but here I'm looking forward to.

I've been wondering whether the console could be sold used, I'm glad someone asked. I would like to get a better answer than 'no comment' though...

This is not an exciting thing, the last thing anyone needs is not only content that is held back as DLC but content that is held back AND exclusive to only one platform or another, or different between multiple platforms.

To the author- thanks for throwing in some youtube footage! Two Brothers brings back alot of gameboy nostalgia for me and I probably wouldn't have seen the video anywhere else. Indie FTW!

I'm glad they're admitting this, I'm glad the time is taken for the games to be as good as they can be come launch but the games do need to come faster. I wonder how much of a problem was caused by moving their offices and divisions around and merging certain sectors of their game development. I would think that could slow down development a bit.
