I'm not one to buy consoles at launch, I usually wait a couple of years and at least try to avoid hardware problems and get the for cheaper. I've made an exception with N these last two hardware cycles simply because I know they make products with low failure rates and I genuinely like them as a business. As far as the lack of a real leap in the tech I think it's not as impressive as it will be a couple of years from now and the PS3 has shown that it still has alot to show off, so...

The screenshots have me smiling, especially the ones from the battle sequences. Seems the old JRPG style will never die.

Aww, *tissue* wipe those tears away it's not going to happen anytime soon, that's for sure.
I think indie devs will offer alot of offline single player since they don't have thousands of cloud computing servers at their disposal and as long as games like Bioshock and The Last of Us do well the single player experience is still going to get made.
How quickly games head toward this fused and connected future is going to depend on the success of the games that take ...

This next generation is going to push the blending of single player and multiplayer into one singular game that will need a connection to play and with that will come DRM not through crazy restrictions from consoles but the necessity to be online in the first place to play. Watchdogs for instance will put other players in your single player game if you want and wil offer missions based around or including those elements. Eventually, and probably during the course of this upcoming generation, ...

It's a shame the kickstarter hasn't reached its goal yet, I would love to see this on the WiiU and it could go a long way to showing something that might not work well on other consoles.

We already got a Firefly movie, it's what introduced be to the series in the first place and considering that was back in 2006-2007 I think that's the last victory the Browncoats are going to get, although I do love the idea of Mal commanding the ship from a wheelchair while River spoon feeds Zoe cream corn and talks about the old days

I would love to see the N put together a couple of teams devoted to making some gritty, more adult oriented versions of some of their franchises, like Metroid, Zelda or even Mario. I don't want the more traditional role of these franchises disappearing but N could really use some JK Rowling style 'the content grows with the audience' game design to convince people they have range with their creations.

Another Earthbound game could make consoles fly off shelves! But unfortunately that's like hoping for Firefly to come back to TV.

The news today- XBOX IS WINNING, PS4 IS WINNING, XBOX IS WINNING, MS SHARING WAS DEMOS, MS SHARING WASN'T DEMOS, PS4 IS WINNING, MS SHARING IS AND ISN'T DEMOS AT THE SAME TIME, XBOX IS WINNING.
This is already starting to get annoying and these consoles have MONTHS til launch.

It's a petition. You sign your name and with that signing you say 'I want this third party game on the WiiU' So if your saying the WiiU needs more third party support then put your name where your mouth is.

Completely agree, I dislike any retail associate pushing whatever product in my face, I just want to make my purchase and be on with my day. Unfortunately, at least here in the US, it's becoming commonplace with lots of retailers to have the cashiers act as salesmen and try to push extra products on people. It sucks, just another way to get fired for missing quota and demand even more out of people already (usually) putting in more than they should have to for a minimum wage job.

So this getting out of hand. All this means is that you don't HAVE to have it connected for rhe console to work which is good news for everyone that is concerned about being watched/listened to while the system isn't even on. I'm no fan of MS but at least give credit where credit is due.

People, seriously, everyone who keeps saying 'the U needs third party support' needs to put their name where their mouth is.

Glad I'll have something to play in my 2+ year wait for a PS4.

I can't stand exclusive DLC for day one purchases, especially if it's unique missions or plots that aren't available any other way. Just let anyone who buys new get this stuff, especially if it's the same price. And just so it's made clear it doesn't matter what system or studio does it, it only makes me want to buy used since I'll already miss out on any exclusive content if I buy 6 months from release.

So I think the reason WW is getting a re release and not any other game is exactly because of ut's art style. This game has aged really well and is probably the best candidate for getting and HD Zelda out simply because it wouldn't take too long to get it up and running. And by the way, WW has become one of the most fondly remembered and best Zelda games it just took years for it to happen. I'll be glad to revisit this title while waiting for another entry in the franchise but I d...

The only people benefiting from DRM are the publishers and devs, digital is only going to hurt the customer if it remains a closed market monopoly style system as it is today. While prices may, repeat, MAY go down in a digital marketplace those prices would only go up as time goes on. Once the initial profits are made from the ending of a physical open market how is continued growth supposed to happen? Sure, for the first 5 or 10 years everything would look great, people get new games for (ho...

I found the combat boring, it took WAY too much from the GdoW series and didn't really differentiate itself enough from the many other action games out there. I also wasn't a fan of losing some of the things that made the older games (PS1 and DS era) so good in the first place like the Metroid aspects and the more open world feeling of discovery, plus the lack of numerous weapon choices made it lackluster. It's unfortunate these aspects were given up, I'm still amazed it got s...
