Nintendo is still in the dark ages.
If your system bricks and you need a new one. Or hard drive fails and you need to get it replaced. What happens to all your saved games?
Why is nintendo living in the dark ages.
Doesn't matter no matter what nintendo does wrong. Their fanboys will buy it and support it. So nintendo finds no reason to change its ways. Their fans allow this to happen and Nintendo knows this.
BOTW is arguably one of the best games ever released. Good for Nintendo. But their mistakes came in when they decided to release it for wii u too. They should have let the wiiu die, and moved on. Their abandoning it anyway.
There is absolutely no reason to get a switch right now. And 3rd party ports are better on other systems anyway. And now there is widespread hardware issues. These are all nails to its coffin.
I really wish they would just contend with Playstation and Xb...
2 million shipped by the end of March. So the release may have been 500,000 accounting for a weekly restock to make 2 million in 4 weeks.
But the switch will still fail.
Yes, the ps4 IS the greatest console ever released.
The consoles you listed were amazing and pioneering for their time but they aren't the best. Just because they bring nostalgia.
Tell me one of those consoles that can compete with this:
The ps4 is a powerhouse, with great graphical and processing capabilities, great features, HD audio, fast load times, great storage, well built, quiet, great design, light, no power block, low failure rate, great options, plays ...
@Shin-Zantetsuken
Price drop is unlikely even if switch becomes a flop. Nintendo are to stubborn in their old ways and in the ways of taling your money. The wiiu didn't budge since launch even till the end of its cycle it was still 399 (albeit with a ship in game) a couple of weeks ago here in Canada. I was looking to pick one up at discount, because I thought nintendo plays by the rules, and would drop the price in prelude to the incoming console. But no.
@sinjonezp
If your gonna post something like that. You have to tell us a timeframe. But don't worry I got you people.
- 3:15 is what hes referring to (Naomi walking)
- 4:35 (bonus).
As much as I like to bash nintendo on their lack of raw power. The zelda games were always a masterpiece. But that's one thing and one thing only nintendo knows how to do. Is make a mario and Nintendo game. They don't know how to make anything else. Literally.
And I refuse to buy a $400 (canadian) console for 2 games. I rather invest in a g29 racing wheel.
Their review in progress vs final review have only changed slightly and most time worse than better because the online servers sometimes lacked load bearing.
I don't understand how they made the joy con connectors not bluetooth like the ps4. I can use my controller from the other room.
No. Somethings dont get better. Like,
how can performance get better,
how can connection issues of controllers get better,
how can the bulky design when docked get better.
How can battery life get better.
How can no premium audio (optical) get better.
How can not enough internal storage get better.
Yeah they were right about the ps3 and all its issues. That's why it's sales lacked behind their counterparts. And the only thing that pushed them forward was their strong 1st party and third partyear support.
They learned their lesson with the ps3 and made ps4 the most amazing console ever released. And they established all their first party studios and gained a significant amount of fanbase.
Nintendo has been messing up since GameCube with alienating their core ga...
What do you mean supportive? Everything he said makes sense and he backed up his arguments with clear points. I'm surprised it didn't receive a score lower than 6.7
I said it a while back, and I'll say it again. Actually I'll just quote myself:
"I don't know what the switch is trying to do. It's too weak for a home console. And too bulky and less efficient for a portable. It should have stuck to one thing and did it well. Instead of doing one thing really well. It's trying to do 3 things at once, albeit haphazardly. Which in turn, will hold it back on all 3 fields. It's trying to appeal to the casual (the ...
Companies make everything available on review copies. But Reviewers wait to review games based on server loads so when people buy it and over load the servers. But there is nothing to switch on. Everything is there.
Yeah the first one was a surprise hit for me personally. I was at the store and I wanted to buy a game and I didn't even know about it. I ended up really enjoying this. This is a for sure pre order for me.
Addictive game play.
I'm really enjoying For Honor. Maybe because I'm doing so good. Kill mostly everyone I come across. One time I took on 3 guys (with orochi) in an intense battle when my team mates decided to die early. It was intense, my heart was racing and I was full of adrenaline during the ordeal. Every attack I landed was satisfying, every damage I took gave me panic. I had to run away a couple of time to regain my bearings and to try and break them. Never felt like that playing a game since, I d...
It's sold out. First week means first shipment, that's the same for all consoles. When the os4 launched here it sold out first day. But it's still considered first week. Because the stock gets replenished once a week for all consoles. Your grasping for straws here.
