As an adult if you know for some reason you can't play with friends you know life goes on. Get more or different friends, talk them into getting your console, or just don't play with those people. Not a big deal. I wouldn't brag about disposable income then say you want to save money. Don't buy all the systems then.

It sure is. Reminds me of early PS1 days when we had all those extra systems like 3DO, Jaguar, and others. Only a few and maybe not when that many will succeed. Honestly I'm not liking this direction at all personally

The premise of this is interesting but the data itself is very inaccurate. I saw the map and laughed because it makes it look like Sony is barely selling and that's a lie. Or that Xbox is dominating which is also a lie. 40 people per state is nowhere near enough for a sample
I don't consider the Switch a next gen console. It's more like Nintendo released 2 consoles this gen
Bloodborne simplistic? Strange to complain about clones too when there haven't been many. From Software makes these kinds of games well. No problem with that. I'd take their style over hack and slash any day. They did do something different and continue to do so.
One can hope. I was thinking earlier on another post about how they may tack on more fees to the subscription or start dividing up the pool of.games with even more subscriptions. The network will need to be built too and that's not free either.

I'm sure things like that would happen in a streaming future. Almost 100% sure. I mean, why else would companies be pushing so hard for it. Netflix for gaming is a huge turnoff for me
CDs didn't end traditional gaming at all. They were needed for space and allowed for much better sound. Just an evolution. Streaming isn't in the same boat. @rainslacker has the right idea there. It's also true like others have said that infrastructur...

Single player games are amazing. Not sure how people can't see that or why they'd rather have the mess of games that have been released lately.
These articles are lame for sure. I don't have Plus because I've got plenty of games to play and a backlog as it is, but even if I did have the service I'd know that the games are an added bonus. Paying for online e play is what Plus is for. People demanding to be compensated are forgetting that a bonus is just that. Be happy with what you do have. If you don't game online get rid of Plus like I did. No big deal
It sure is ridiculous. If I were even thinking about getting this game and didn't know about that path I'd be done buying games from Ubisoft just because of this. Luckily for them, I've already gotten to that point. I can't imagine having a capped internet service and then get socked with this. Who plans these things and thinks it's ok?
I can't wait for more Android devices to be allowed. I'd love remote play on my phone. Especially for the grinds in games like DQ
Most of what GS has done recently has only caused more of a disconnect and they are solely to blame. They already changed their model and it has failed. Stop trying to sell crap people don't go to GS for! It would be a great place if it specialized in games alone and not merch along with iPads and such. Funny they would think about things after the fact like.why.would anyone believe them considering what has happened so far
