Ii don't see that happening. It would be the equivalent of buying like 2 games a year. How would offering hundreds for this price be better for developers and such? This is why I don't want to see an all digital or streaming future. Quality will surely suffer
The way you're talking makes it perfectly clear that MS was NOT for gaming (like say Nintendo or Sony have been) for quite some time yet that's not what people were saying during the period. You make it sound like everyone wanted casual and kiddie Kinect stuff, to have a TV channel based on Xbox, and not want hardcore first party titles. Had all that been true they wouldn't have changed focus. People have been complaining about the lack of first party since 360. Also, the JRPGs wa...
If more and more subscription services are on the way I'll still continue as I have been until left no choice. Then no more gaming and staying retro for me
I would hope that we will always have the option to buy outright. It seems that a company would get more of your money that way as opposed to dividing it up hundreds of times. I too would stop gaming.if it was full sub or even full digital just to play. Subs you own nothing
I don't have Plus but this is what I feel as well and why I would rather just pay for physical copies. I have bought some online during sales but I'd much rather have physical when possible
@mikes
What are you smoking?
@Seraphim
Yes I agree. I also think that good games don't get bad as time wears on though either. They could have put some amazing games like Syphon Filter, Legend of Dragoon, and many others but didn't. I think the older (pre 64 bit) games have a different feel for sure. Like I keep telling myself I want to get the remake of Secret of Mana on PS4 but haven't yet. I feel like the game isn't as good not being 2D like the original. It just doesn't "fe...
This really should be an easy question to answer. There are so many reasons why it is unpopular. Price was a big factor at first. The selection of games is terrible. There definitely should be more RPGs on there. There's no analog sticks on the controller so the other games are kind of "meh" because of it. Selection suffered for that mistake (omitting the analogs). It seemed like Sony just rushed to cash in on a craze and it backfired.
Well worth it but I'm trying to get through Yakuza games right now that are similar
Not much coming from that site is ever news
"says Dev" ok gamingbolt 😒
Wow there's quite a bit in there. Some I wouldn't mind trying but with my current backlog I can see me not getting to them
Many don't have a well thought out view of politics I've noticed. They pick one side and agree with them 100% while despising the rest. From what I've living in the USA, people judge things like socialism and the like based on a huge lack of knowledge and understanding. Claims about healthcare being bad if it were universal and education too. Which I see one has already been talking about. Capitalism and greed seem to rule here. Instead of thinking about what's better for all ...
Well they believe a man that thinks he knows everything and is above the law. Quite funny and yet sad. Keep denying facts but that don't make them less real
@Srhalo
Exactly. I don't think that many understand unions either. They just think it's a bad word for some reason. And all the while getting angry about things but not at the right people. Why worship billionaires?
I'm not sure what to think of their comments actually. If they think making.originals are so much easier then where are they? They haven't released many games on the JRPG front over recent years. Especially when compared to previous generations. I get that it's different now and takes more time. Just like other studios and their works, but just an observation. At least they're noticing some things I'll give them that. My hype has started to return for the remake
I have a very hard time passing up good games for $20. I just bought Ratchet and Clank and Dying Light while passing on some other ones but Nioh has been on my list as well. I like that they add the DLC to these. Games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 are amazing and well worth even the $60 tag they started at.
I can't believe this was said by EA. Wow
Yup! EA are so delusional. I can't believe they don't see it
"As per developer"... I see what you did there. Still no read from me gamingbolt 😒
