I completely agree! I'd love to get my $ back and get Wolfenstein. I hear good things about that game and should check it out

Then Watch Dogs I had high hopes for because of the new gen and all....
I'll say there's been quite a few disappointments in recent years and probably more to come. All EA and all Ubisoft games I'm throwing under a microscope from now on and won't be buying on release either. Squeenix too actually

I completely agree! I've actually been a little disgusted with Ubisoft lately then I got this game and was amazed. I've been wanting something like this for 15 years or more (because Guitar Hero should've been like this game IMO)
If Ubisoft was smart they wouldn't EVER release a new installment of the game. I say this because of what happened to Guitar Hero and Rock Band. This gen is awesome! We got fish AI, pooping horses, and boob physics all in 18 months time! The future is looking interesting O_o
Ff13 is where it was IMO. They started losing sight in ffxii and just fell off the cliff after that in my eyes
Edit: I'm also thinking just in the term of actual FF releases and not counting X-2. I never count this game because I only played for a few hours and wanted to throw the game away. I couldn't believe what I was playing

I like your counter argument, you don't see much of that here.
"So the question is, are EA providing sufficiently new content to warrant a full price tag". My answer to that would be "no". EA won't ever release a game worthy of full price and when they make it worth the retail price they charge $10-$15 for the individual packs that should have been in the game to begin with.

It is strange how many fighters and types of fighters there were back then. Nowadays it's just SF and one MK game if we're lucky. No VF games, Battle Arena Toshieden, no decent Tekken games, Bloody Roar, Soul Calibur..... All those were great in their own right

I'm sure at some point I'll get it. If nothing else it may end up the Plus game sometime in the future. I love the old school, simple type, fun games. Had a blast with Timesplitters back in the day. We need a new one of those!
