It really is amazing what a few months can do. I won't lie, I wasn't going to buy an XboxOne. At least things are getting the way they should have been at launch IMO. The Kinect idea didn't fly (with consumers like MS had hoped) and the cloud talk didn't fool anyone either. Time to focus on games and games FIRST.
"For some reason I like the idea of my horse taking a crap more than some fishy AI"
That's an exact quote made by someone and when I find it I'll post a link....
Who am I kidding that's my own quote!
Lol another good one!
Lmao good one
I agree with InTheZone. Complex controllers kill the immersion IMO. So NES, SNES, PS1-4 were my favorite. Nintendo controllers seemed too gimmicky and "cheap" and Sega just too big and odd placements for the buttons
Thanks! Cool comment "bro"
I bought this game day1 for the PS3. I played through the story mode one time and let someone borrow the game after that. To this day I haven't gotten it back and don't miss it. For a sandbox game I thought the graphics were good. I also loved the handling of the cars. The story on the other hand, and the characters (with having 3 main instead of one), turns me off on playing it again. The map isn't the greatest either IMO.
I think the screens look nice but I won&...
CoD is losing popularity which is great! Although that might just be because Ghosts sucked. AC games are good and all but like was said elsewhere, they should've used Black Flag as a new IP instead of using it as an AC game. I stopped playing them because they were releasing so many. I remember having the first game on reserve and it was delayed for like 2 years. What changed that they could release them annually (or close enough)?! Lol
I'd like new IPs and I think I&...
It seems to me, with all my reading about this stuff, that no matter what is said they still don't have a clue what they're talking about. "They" not just being Ubisoft. It doesn't matter who you ask, the answers always change or seem out of touch. This guy might come out in a few more weeks saying something like "Watch Dogs didn't sell like we anticipated so we won't be doing new IPs anymore". Who knows.
Do you know anyone that buys a new phone, TV, MacBook, and tablet every year? That would be an insane waste of money! Not to mention what iamnsuperman said. Quickest way to not get support by devs would be to constantly release new hardware
I wasn't taking about frame rate drops. I'm talking about steady frame rate AND higher resolution. 1080P to me looks nice. Also, with these new systems, 30fps locked shouldn't be a problem either.
This kind of makes me wonder what on earth SE sits around doing for 365 days every year. They've got to be the slowest moving devs I've ever seen in my entire life. Also, with all these games not making an appearance what the hell is going to be so great about this E3?! I hope there's a lot of unannounced stuff. I also hope that of that "stuff" it's not penciled in for 2016 or something
While I agree with his statements, this should just be a given. Nobody should be programming for lower than 720p/30fps anymore. I also agree that I'd rather have resolution over frame rate. 1080 is what I want to see more of and what IMO makes a game look more visually appealing
I hope this succeeds and I hope to see the entire catalog from all PS systems available. If not, then it already fell short IMO. Call me cynical, but I remember something like this being said about the PSstore. It has taken forever to put games on there and many "classics" have yet to make it :/
I agree and I think more people are starting to feel this way. I'm tired of being shown a game years ahead of release, or using multiple "high end" pcs that show target renders not representing the final product. We have 10times more memory this gen and I'm not seeing enough good out of it yet!
I do think WD is a good game. It could've definitely been better though with all the extra RAM now and more GPU power. I think the cross gen release hurt the gam...
8.2 definitely isn't a bad score. Although with all the hype this game had.... GTA games get near perfect scores. It's still good though I agree
Or how Forza5 is the best racing game to date? Or "of course Driveclub looks better, it was delayed 9 months!" I'm excited for this game without even clicking on the link!
It was a lie in how they said it would work. I like how people didn't fall for it. It's almost like MS is running out of options in how to lure customers in. Clouds failed to materialize, Titanfall didn't do what it was supposed to, Kinect "still" isn't used to its full potential, DRM made people angry... All this changing around isn't going to help MS much IMO. The vision is lost, people see the rapid changes all the time. They could've had this 10% freed up...
This is too bad. No Media Molecule and now this :/
That's true but any game can do that stuff if you think about it. It's stuff that could have easily been done last gen. Or, calculations could be done locally. Idk... I'm not sold on it
