This shouldn't be "insider" news. Everyone knows Sony is working on tweaking the UI. That's what most people have been complaining about since launch. I really like how snappy the UI is on PS4. Makes me wonder how much better the XMB would've been had they used it for the PS4. Yes the UI is nice, but I still liked the XMB. Everything was easy to access and find, folders could be created for games. Newer isn't always better. Why did they get rid of themes? I'm sur...

I'm glad to hear this. Of course I want to play Witcher 3 when it comes out. I haven't played the first 2 and wouldn't have time to anyway. Just concentrate on making this game good, that's all that matters IMO. Also since people keep talking PC, that's a very good idea for those that haven't played the previous games. I'm thinking of making a steam account and just gaming on PC after this gen is over, or maybe during it too idk
I can't believe Twisted Metal has dropped down to $5 already. That game is tough! I do like it though. There were so many games around that time that Twisted Metal is just sitting there unfinished. I think I shouldn't have bought the game at launch lol

I thought the reveal of this game was great! I also like that all the previously made levels will be playable with the new game. This is not a debate about fire hydrants. Go play GTA3 and then watch dogs and tell me the difference. There are more in a GTA game, and they actually shoot out water (in WD it barely goes over your head). I was using it as an example between the 2 games. Lighten up. Maybe it was a poor example but it was the first one I could think of at the time
The online part is funny at times, I'll agree with that. Chasing someone around can get hilarious. Also, by not having hydrants I mean they're not as abundant as they should be. I run over tons of stuff all the time just for the hell of it and no hydrants. Just doesn't feel right
I'm an older gamer as well. I bought WD and it definitely wasn't because of the hype. I lost all that knowing about the downgrade and seeing gameplay. I will say that the game is a disappointing IMO. I play it but not for very long.
What gets me is we have GTA5 being re-released soon and it's going to blow the socks off of WD visually. I've got a lot of criticisms for WD and Ubisoft dealing with the game but I won't get into that here(no fire hydrants?!)....
I definitely agree the gore in the game looks awesome! The X-ray attacks though aren't new. They were done in the last game and I think another one, I'm not sure. Anyhow those along with the weapons and pickups in the levels are the things that turn me off

You're not the only one. I've been trying to figure out why things that were so easily in one system get left out of another. Why did PS1 have those balls that played during music but no other one? Why can PS3 have DLNA but not PS4? Why did the PS1 & 2 have a bootup sound? I miss that!
