Now that I'm thinking about it I hope one thing that doesn't transfer over to next gen is a snapshot for each trophy earned. I hate that that's a feature as it takes up room that I could use. Shouldn't have to go in and delete them all the time

Very true. I often think of their slogans too like "Jump in" and "Jump Ahead". Why all the jumping? Building for a future is great. Taking multiple generations to get there though?

I'm quite sure that games that require internet to play (which I hate btw so don't buy them) would react the same way next gen as well. How could one pause all of the internet to return to it later? It's impossible. Everyone else's game is still playing even if you are not. Yes I understand that single player games are different but that's also why I don't buy the ones that require online to play

This pretty much shows how put of touch investors are. Amazon just released a cloud gaming platform and yet Gamestop thinks they can compete in e-commerce with them? I've actually gone to Amazon more in recent times than Gamestop because I can't stand them. As a physical store they used to be ok, but they've been getting worse. I wouldn't trust them to do better
